Hey everyone! I’m Danny.Feeling extra thankful today for all of the constant support you guys give me 🤘🏽There’s been quite a few new followers in the past week or so, so I just wanted to take a second and introduce myself to all the new people and just give a bit more info about myself to all you guys who have been around for awhileI love travel, taking photos, making videos, flying drones, seeing new places and doing basically anything to get outside. ⛰I grew up in a little small town in Colorado, and always dreamed of traveling when I was younger. As soon as I got out of high school I booked a solo backpacking trip to Iceland, and have been hooked on travel ever since. I tried the whole college thing - but it wasn’t for me. After one year I dropped out and decided to pursue photo / video full time. It was a serious struggle in the beginning, and I had to work a bunch of different jobs to save enough money to go traveling - but slowly but surely I started getting my name out there getting little gigs that allowed me to keep traveling. Since then I’ve pretty much been on the road full time searching for stories to tell, crashing way too many drones, and just chasing the next adventure. I’ve been able to work with some awesome brands like Redbull, Gooogle, United Airlines, DJI, and GoPro. One of my favorite things I’ve been able to do is build out my dream camper van during the quarantine. It’s been the ultimate home base to travel the states this year 🚐 I hope my content inspires you guys to get outside, break out of your comfort zone and mainly just do more things that make you happy 🤘🏽Anyways, enough about me - I’d love to get to know some of you guys down in the comments! From the archives - Mongolia 2019. ⚠️ Trigger warning for the last photoBack in 2019 @jonah_levine, @eddenram and I spent 10 days with the nomadic eagle hunters of western Mongolia. We were completely off grid and immersed in a culture that hasn’t changed for thousands of years. Their whole lives revolve around their animals and the seasons. Life seemed so simple while we were there. As the world get crazier and crazier I sometimes think about the families we stayed with, and whether anything has changed for them. I’d bet not much, and in a weird way I’m a bit envious of them. The final 2 photos in this carousel were taken on our last eagle hunt. We’d load up on horseback and ride through the mountains for hours searching for animals. They mostly hunt fox - and if they spot one they send their eagle after it. The eagle then either grabs onto it or traps it until the hunter can catch up. We were slowly cresting a hill, and the hunter let out a yell and sent his eagle after something. We hopped off our horses and ran down after it. We were expecting to see a fox, so when I looked into this cave and saw this staring back, I could not believe it. It’s called a Pallas’s cat, they’re a close cousin of the snow leopard and incredibly rare. Even the hunters we were with said they’d only ever seen one of these a couple times in their lives. It was the most beautiful animal I’d ever seen - and we all secretly hoped that they’d let it live, but no dice. It was one of the most intense things I’ve experienced while traveling, but understandable. The family would use every single part of the animal. They’d eat the meat, sell the pelt and use the fat as medicine. I left the trip feeling incredibly lucky to have been able to experience what we did 🙏🏽We made a full film of our adventure you can check out on my YouTube channel #mongolia #altai #eaglehunter by @mcgee

Exploring the incredible landscapes of Peru 🇵🇪A few days before this, we crossed over the border of Peru. I honestly had no idea what to expect in this area so I did a quick Google Maps search and found this waterfall that wasn’t far from us. Turns out it’s one of the tallest waterfalls in the world, and getting to dive it was such an incredible experience. We were five weeks into a motorcycle trip and to be honest this hike was miserable because I had gotten eaten alive by bugs a few days before. But at least for a little bit as we sat at the bottom of this thing and gazed up at the top thousands of feet above, the misery faded away and was replaced by awe ( as well as the occasional shout - “holy shit that thing is tall” ) Shot on the @djiglobal Avata 2 #Peru #gocta #fpv #nature by @mcgee

This trip has truly been the adventure of a lifetime. Nearly 15,000 miles covered so far and about 4000 more to go until we reach the end of the world in Ushuaia! It’s so weird seeing so much condensed into less than a minute but this edit was really fun to make.
