I created my best friends wedding stationery, the perfect suite for an abroad wedding in Sicily. Modern & simple yet so beautiful with hand-written typography & spot illustrations!

I am SUCH a maximalist at heart but there’s also something so cool about being able to create something not maximalist 😆 but what the client wants & envisions!

Next Sunday the NI Aeropress 2026 champion will be crowned. They’ll travel to Mexico City later this year to represent Northern Ireland on the global stage 🇲🇽

We teamed up with @rawmaterial.coffee @hundredstudio_ @theroastworks and @mcgowansbelfast to roast this year’s mystery coffee for the competition 💪

Holiday Bible Club season 🙌🏼

I couldn't volunteer in person but was great to be involved with some visuals for @emmanuellisburn HBC this week! Visuals inspired by artwork by @cefireland theme for the week of 'Brave Adventurers'

Really enjoyed learning how to use @affinity vectors for these! And my ever helpful assistant coming to my aid

Earlier this year I began working with Madeleine, the new owner of @parrot_street Book Club. On adding Parrot Street to her Northern Ireland based @wee.bookworms family, she became one of the UK’s leading children’s book subscription providers.

When she acquired Parrot Street she also took over the production of their monthly Activity Packs that went out with each subscription.

The activity packs aren’t just inserts, they aim to add value to the reading experience. Encouraging the children to further explore the book’s themes and characters through different tasks and activities.

But the existing packs weren’t doing that job as well as they could. With three packs across different age groups, there were multiple formats, accessibility concerns, and designs that weren’t engaging enough for the children.

Together, we completely redesigned them (and switched to local printer @mcgowansbelfast). Each pack is now the same format (more cost effective), and has their own name with badge, which adds to the feeling of being part of a club.

I couldn’t not share our wedding stationery because I obviously took on that role 😆

Had a blast creating it all & making it so colourful and fun! My good pal Maria from @mcgowansbelfast printed all our save the dates, invites, menus, signage and order of service and they honestly all just looked so amazing!

I also reaaaallly wanted to make some cool coasters and they turned out soooo well and finally for our table plan I didn’t just want to have a sign so I decided to paint plinths & write everyone’s names down on the side of them! It also meant I could have other beautiful flower arrangements on top 🥹 taken in Old Court Strangford Lough by @mcgowansbelfast

Limited Edition roast crafted to celebrate @belfastdesignwk

This washed caturra is from Finca La Tuna in the highlands of Jaen in Peru. The coffee’s name is not a nod to the fish but instead ‘tuna’ is the name for the fruit of the prickly pear cactus; found in shades of green, yellow or deep red.

The special edition label was printed by our friends @mcgowansbelfast

McGowans Print is one of the original Belfast Design Week collaborators, going all the way back to 2015 when the first BDW kicked off as part of the Year of Irish Design (ID2015).

As we were preparing for our first festival, Maria Marnell reached out to us to see if there was a way McGowans could support, collaborate or work with us to create some lovely printed things for the week. This initial gesture of kindness and support has now led to an over-a-decade long print partnership and collaboration and has brought lots of beautiful artwork to life over the years - from postcards to merch to programmes and displays.

STORYBOX NEW GIFT BOX COLLECTION

SMALL BOX 🎁 BIG IMPACT⚡

Five years ago this May Storybox started with a simple idea, to shine a light on small businesses, social enterprises, artists and makers doing things differently across N. Ireland and beyond.

This new gift box collection and packaging marks the next step in that story.

Over time it has become very clear just how much independent makers are holding up within their communities, often working against rising costs, limited visibility and constant pressure to stay sustainable in systems that do not always make space for them.

And yet, they are the ones creating jobs, spreading diversity, protecting craft and bringing real meaning into everyday life.

This is why Storybox exists, to bring more visibility, value and celebration to the people and businesses behind each Storybox.

The collection is built around one idea: Small Box, Big Impact. Every Storybox represents real people, real work and real impact across communities.

The new collection has been designed to create a more thoughtful experience from start to finish, giving more space to the stories, purpose and makers behind each product.

A huge thank you to @mcgowansbelfast who have been with us since the beginning, and Paul McNally from @stylografik for helping bring this vision to life.

And a special mention to Emma from @lavenderlinephotography who is very much part of the Storybox team, and whose beautiful images capture this new chapter perfectly.

If you didn’t already know, Belfast Design Week starts this Friday and we’re excited to say we have been again selected as BDW26 Print Partner. 🙌🏻

This year’s theme ‘Season’ reflects an industry in constant evolution, with Belfast and Ireland in general producing well crafted and increasingly confident work on an ever growing stage.

As Irish Digital Printer of the Year 😉 we know digital print is central to that - giving designers freedom to experiment with materials and finishes while still allowing speed, flexibility and precision in the output of their work.
