thank you Jesus for basecamp 2026!!!

Thank you Lord for provision and providence and the fact that you connected me to this place so intentionally. These people have welcomed me and loved me so fully for so many years now!! Thank you Jesus for pointing me to the cross daily and reminding me of my freedom which is found in you!!

God knew how many times we would fail Him and return to Him, and He knew from the start of creation that His son would die, yet He still chose us. He does not need us. But He wants us, as unworthy of grace as we are!! So praise the Lord!!!

Spending this time in creation, and being reminded of the vastness of the Lord and the beauty of the world He made, has truly been such a blessing! This week was full of laughter, long hikes, sunburns, bruises and bites, worship, intentional time with the Lord, river floats, and more! I truly saw the Lord moving in my own life and the life of others around me so beautifully!!! I am forever grateful for this place and all that it has taught me over the years. I truly will miss it so much!

happy sunday!

the fact that we’ve made it to march of senior year is surreal to me. I feel so torn between excitement of this next season and the memories that are yet to come, and sadness that this one is almost to an end. something though that the Lord has just been constantly reminding me is that while I can be both excited and sad, I can also be content in this season that I’m in now and just take each moment as they come with gratitude. because praise God that it’s March of senior year!! & that we still have two months left to grow with the people around us and love each other well before we leave.

I truly have learned so much this year and the work that God has been doing is so clear to me. I have just been reminded over and over of the beauty in sitting with the Lord and the perfection of the Gospel. the Gospel is complete and sufficient for us all and something that is continually transforming us day by day. surrendering our own will to the will of God and coming to the Lord open handed is how we are able to continually live in the freedom of the Gospel!

so thank you Lord for senior year and the fact that He’s carried us all this way! He truly is so good and faithful!!

WHO THE SON SETS FREE, IS TRULY FREE INDEED!!

Camp Travis is not just about being in Florida, it’s not just about the beach and it’s not just about the camp site. While those things are fun, this youth group could go anywhere and I’d still consider that time some of the best times of my life. These people have taught me through the years what Christ centered community truly looks like. These people have seen me laugh, seen me cry, seen my most joyful moments and some of my lowest. Yet they have continued to love me and pour into me and continually point me back to the Lord. The fact that these friendships are not merely for a season but are friendships that I’ll get to have for all of eternity is something I praise the Lord for often. I love these people more than words describe and I have been forever changed by them. This place is a home and these people truly are family!!!

Through the years, I have seen this youth go through many changes, some more unexpected than others, but despite this, instead of those changes bringing the youth apart, they ultimately brought the youth even closer. I have met and grown close to some of the most servant hearted, joyful, selfless, loving people through this youth. & I get to rest knowing that we are going to get to one day rejoice in heaven for the fact that we have been freed!!! The camp dance parties are not even close to over!!!

To my small group and Mrs. Debbie, y’all know every single part of me, the good the bad and the ugly, and yet y’all have never left my side. Y’all make me laugh harder than anyone and yet you are able to be serious when needed. Some of y’all I have known my whole life and we have seen each other through every stage of life, and some I’ve only gotten to know recently, but for all of it I am so incredibly grateful.

SO PRAISE THE LORD FOR FREEDOM AND FOR THE WORK THAT JESUS DID ON THAT CROSS!!! & THANK YOU JESUS FOR JOY AND LAUGHTER AND BEING ABLE TO SIT AT YOUR FEET!!

Camp Travis, you were good to us!!!!
