Eugene wasn’t just a model in our campaign he was a living part of its heartbeat. His song “Rise,” which features in BLACK STARR, was born from the same spirit that fuels everything we’ve created. 🖤

We’re incredibly thankful to him for sharing what inspired the track, a song that’s both a reflection and a call. His voice reminds us that this is deeper than visuals it’s about purpose, truth, and healing through art.

As Congolese creatives, it’s important to honour and spotlight the talent within our community talent that often goes unseen. This campaign is proof that we are more than our pain we are powerful, creative, and ready to rise.

Wow… This moment means everything. This project went through real warfare, sabotage, fake support and hidden agendas. There were sleepless nights and times we carried this alone. Many tried to stop us, but we stood firm, protected our vision, and kept going.

This is about Congo, truth, and legacy. Honoring Patrice Lumumba and those who fought for liberation. In the chaos, the Most High revealed true intentions and connected us with people who genuinely believed in this message. We thank God for guiding us through.

To our models your presence, strength, and stories made this campaign powerful. To our creative team, the makeup artists, hairstylists, and styling assistants. Thank you for believing in this before the full vision was even visible and lastly to our video editor @guillaumelaraa you saved the day when sabotage was at it’s worst, bringing focus and commitment.
