Change doesn’t happen overnight.

We ALL see these “ #transformationtuesday “ posts- and in my personal experience, I have had many moments in which I’ve compared my own journey to theirs.

As I decided to change my lifestyle, I remember going through every hashtag, and heavily stalking every Instagram/ Facebook page consisting of transformation pictures. I would sit for hours and screenshot transformation posts and tell myself that I needed to do they exact same.

At the time, I didn’t quite realize the amount of dedication, patience, and time that went into the incredible journies that had impacted and inspired me.

Seldomly on social media do we see the pain, sacrifices, struggles, emotional, physical, & mental battles that we as HUMAN are all going through.

It’s a process. Life is a process. A ginormous part of this “life change” is TIME. The best way I can describe my own journey is by comparing it to the *paper towel analogy*

Change will happen, when you decide that you are ready. Change will continue to happen as long as we are alive. Take control over what you DO have power over instead of craving control of what you don’t. Life will start to change when you become more committed to your dreams, than you are to your comfort zone. Give yourself the blessing of forgiveness, the patience, and the chance; it’s going to be okay- just take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. #mclivinit

GOOD MORNING AMERICA. (Well good afternoon)

Since I was 5 years old I have had a vision board with the words, #GMA and @theellenshow on it. I always said my dream was to inspire people with my voice- and over the last few years my dream of inspiring others with my voice has become one that is truly unfathomable. I aspire to inspire others with my journey, through my voice. I want to be able to help others share THE VOICE that they have wanted to share, but have felt they couldn’t.

One of my biggest dreams came true this morning when I was @goodmorningamerica and @abcnews had posted a snippet of my true story. NOW here’s to a HUGE CHEERS, TO CONTINUE TO keep on writing in this chapter in my book, I call life.

No dream is too big, and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

I wouldn’t have been able to do this without the help of some absolutely INCREDIBLE SOULS. To my faith, my music and to my family, thank you for putting up with me. To my dear friends, thank you for loving me, to YOU, thank you for allowing me to be heard, and- lastly, I am ALWAYS here to listen. I love you guys.

I have struggled with this for so many years and been petrified that if I was left alone I would be so lonely. Yes, there are many moments in which being alone may transpire feelings of loneliness; even more painful is being around someone you love and care for and feeling lonely because you are being undervalued.
If you are struggling right now, here is my #1 tip for the current moment….

Focus on being the best you can be for you, and commit to basking in the beauty beneath solitude. Being alone in the wrong setting can often feel lonely, but the best feeling in the world is freeing yourself by committing to being yourself.
