Memorial Day. Sacred and Sobering. The true definition of service to our great country. I had the honor to escort my father to Arlington National Cemetery a few years ago to bury his dear friend and fellow Air Force Colonel Dick Dyer. Witnessing the endless sea of headstones and graves had a profound and deep impact on me. I am humbled by the courage of those who fought and died over many conflicts, a selfless act for which I will forever be grateful.
