Contemporary Greek dishes at @houseofsocial_mcr 🇬🇷 I tried out @kardia_greek recently and was absolutely blown away, their pita and bread is made fresh daily, and they have an incredible range of delicious homemade dips. My personal fave was the spicy feta 🤤 We also enjoyed a range of dishes including the crispy feta filo which came with a really sweet red grape chutney, beef and lamb meatballs, oregano fries and the stand out - the chicken souvlaki. The chicken thighs are well seasoned and tender, it’s such a generous portion so great for sharing too 🫶 A fab spot for a taste of Greece! #mcrbites by @mcrbites

@shoryu_ramen you make miso happy 🍜 LOOK at this absolute feast - we enjoyed their chicken ramen made in a 12 hour bone broth, I honestly could bathe in this broth 🤤 Their chicken katsu which was HUGE btw, along with a range of delicious sides like their pork gyozas (my fave), chicken and pumpkin baos (which pleasantly surprised me). We also had a cheeky cheesecake - this was v small but we were stuffed after our food 😂 and of course mango mochi which is sooo refreshing and light 🥭 if you fancy a ramen fix save this 🌟 #mcrbites by @mcrbites

Is there anything better than carbs and dining al fresco 🍝 Visited @renatapasta_official at @kargo.mkt recently and was impressed with their generous pasta portions - we got the Lamb ragu and their famous Rasta pasta, a creamy onion pasta packed with flavour ✨ Despite it being out of the city centre, highly recommend visiting @kargo.mkt especially on during this heatwave as they have plenty of choice and outdoor seating 🌞 We’ll be back to try more vendors 🤩 #mcrbites by @mcrbites

Took a trip to the newly opened @sticksnsushi.uk this week & it didn’t disappoint 😍 We went with the set for success set menu - £50pp and included a huge variety of different dishes for us to try! Stand outs including the tender beef fillet 🤩 the salmon & cream cheese sushi 🍣 and the tempura prawns. Every dish we had was packed with flavour, and we were both very full afterwards 🙌 We didn’t get dessert but there was a matcha fondant I’ll definitely be back for 👀 Overall a great experience and perfect spot for a date night! 🫶 #mcrbites by @mcrbites

Tapas = my love language 🌹 @elgatonegrotapas have got some incredible new sharing items on their menu - we tried the sea bream with harissa and lemon butter and we were blown away! 🍋 As someone who doesn’t eat a lot of fish, I didn’t know what to expect, but it literally FELL off the bone and was fresh and delicious. Course we had some of my fave classic tapas dishes, including the juiciest prawns and olive tapanade Parmesan croquettes which were my fave ⭐️ such a great cosy date spot for the colder seasons approaching! #mcrbites by @mcrbites

@eggslutuk is officially in Manchester 🐝💛 The viral London spot opens on Deansgate this Saturday (14th) so get cracking and get yourself down there! We had the Fairfax with bacon and sausage, along with the smoked salmon, as well as their super crispy truffle hash browns. Not be missed 🍳 #mcrbites by @mcrbites

Sundays are for @lennoxrestaurant 🫶 We headed down to try their roast dinner - a dry aged striploin, marinated in treacle for optimum flavour! This came with all of your sides - veggies, pigs in blanket, gravy, potatoes, oxtail Yorkshire puddings and your very own portion of gooey mac and cheese (a personal favourite😍) for £35. I definitely think the food exceeds the price point - there were so many delicious flavours, and the meat was very tender. We also tried the house baked milk bread with garlic butter, highly recommend this! 🙌 To finish, we had the tiramisu to share, this portion is for one person usually!! Very generous portion, light and fluffy - the perfect way to end our meal 🥰Their roast is available every Sunday, 12pm to 9.30pm, they also do a veggie option too. One to add to your list ✔️ #mcrbites by @mcrbites

The new chicken place on the block 🍗 I recently visited @lecoqboutique and had an absolute feast - you can choose from a full or half chicken, choose your flavour, sauces and a wide range of sides 🤩 we went for the hash browns which I’d highly recommend 🤤 also the cabbage and greens, both of which were super tasty alongside the tender chicken. Drink wise, on the menu is chicken wine and also an extensive list of different martinis, perfect to wash down🍸 #mcrbites by @mcrbites

The new lunch deal you NEED to hear about!!! 🌮👇

At @ok.taqueria you can choose from 2 delicious & fresh tacos each (we had the cheesy beef birria brisket, the crispy fish and the tender tinga chicken thigh, soooo good) ANDDD a hugeeeee side portion of loaded nachos for £14.50 🫶🏼 And when I say huge, I mean we honestly could have shared this between two! The taco lunch tray is available between Tues-Fri 12pm-4pm, it’s the absolute perfect spot if you’re craving your own little Mexican feast 🇲🇽 We also got some extra bits bcos we’re greedy 🐷 the taco truck fries were super loaded and indulgent, and the choc sauce on the churros were soooo rich, we had to eat them all! #mcrbites by @mcrbites

Still in need for plans this valentines? 🌹 @connis_mcr is offering a bottle of wine, starter and a main for £35pp on Saturday 14th Feb ❤️ We had a preview of the menu - including the Aranchini starter made up of delicious fresh pasta, and a gnocchi alla sorrentina - super cheesy, gooey and indulgent 🍝 I honestly didn’t want it to end! The venue itself has a cosy and authentic vibe, with the loveliest staff and owner who are extremely passionate about authentic Italian food 🇮🇹 Get yourself booked in 🫶 #mcrbites by @mcrbites

Absolutely drooling over my latest trip to @circolopopolare.uk 🤤 We had a gorgeous evening enjoying all of the classics including their pesto burrata (so creamy), their truffle pasta from the cheese wheel which was unreal 😍😍 and finished with their GOLD lemon meringue pie 🍋 which is exclusive for NYE- this is sooo light and delicious. And have you seen how generous the portion are 😂 If you haven’t already, book yourself a table and enjoy the festivities Italian style 🍝 ✨#mcrbites by @mcrbites

Roast dinner inspo for the weekend? Look no further than @gladstonebarberandbistro 😍😍 Only a short train journey from Victoria, this place is well worth the trip. Huge portions, an incredible range of sides and the friendliest staff 🙌 We had 2 courses for £28, we had the feta fill cigars to start (unreal!) and the beef for mains. This was so tender and tasty, and came with all the trimmings - creamy mash, seasonably veg, Yorkshire puddings and beef dripping potatoes 🤤 there was a very generous portion of gravy too which I always love! We also got the truffle Mac and cheese and garlic pecorino broccoli - so good! Safe to say we left stuffed 👏 #mcrbites by @mcrbites
