I haven’t performed in years but one of my goals for this year was to get back on stage again and perform my poetry again. I can’t wait to do it again soon. Thank you to @nuyoricanpoetscafe for the space 🫶🏽 (and recording 🤝🏽❤️‍🔥)

been working on this box set for a while and while she’s technically done for me- this is just a little progress image before she exists out in the world. thinking a lot about what stays with us, the mementos we keep, the habits we pick up, the memories that refuse to fade.

what if everything that encapsulates home fits in a little tin of cookies ? and what if that’s all i needed to mend the space where home was?

will be sharing her complete soon. xx taken in Brooklyn, New York by @mcrios.studio
