@shepardsharits was able to raise $4,405 with the help of 52 incredible friends and family who came together to support his fundraiser for @stbaldricks 🍀 He fell just a little short of his goal, but the fact that he was able to raise that much in less than two weeks is absolutely incredible. We are so grateful for every single person who donated, shared, encouraged, and supported him along the way. THANKKKKK YOUUUUUU!!!

@shepardsharits is shaving his head for the second year in a row tomorrow to raise money for @stbaldricks 💚🍀. Thanks to all of our INCREDIBLE friends and family, we’ve been able to raise over $2600 so far, but he’s still hoping to match what he raised last year - $5,231! ✨PS. For those of you who don’t know, Shep has something called Job’s Syndrome, an extremely rare immune deficiency that affects about 1 in a million people. Until recently, his specific genetic variant was believed to be the only known case in the world. We did recently learn that two more people with the same variant have been identified in Denmark, which honestly felt incredible to hear.

It’s been an isolating journey for Shep at times because he hasn’t had the chance to connect with anyone else like him. A big part of why he’s chosen to get involved with St. Baldrick’s is because he wants to help other kids facing health challenges too, especially the ones fighting battles even bigger and scarier than his own.
