To everyone in the North East 🫶 Thank you so much. The time I spent with you has become one of the most unforgettable journeys of my life. First of all, Boddy. Thank you for letting me stay with you and showing me around the North East. Because of you, I fell even more in love with this place. See you in Osaka next! 🫶 And to your dad. I’ll never forget how warmly you welcomed me, even though we’d only just met. I’ll always remember laughing together when you told me, “If you’re going to Sunderland, you’d better change out of that Newcastle shirt!” 😂 That was such a perfect North East moment. Even walking through the city was full of surprises. Young people, families… So many people came over to say hello, take photos and chat with me. It genuinely felt like the whole city welcomed me. Thank you, North East. I’ll never forget you. 🫶 This trip gave me memories I’ll carry forever. I finally met Makina legends I’d admired for years, including MC TAZO and MC STOMPIN. More importantly… I finally stood in the place I’d only ever seen through a screen. Hearing everyone sing the lyrics together. Feeling the call and response echo across the dancefloor. Realising I was finally part of that moment… I’ll never forget it. My set at RTTG became on taken in Newcastle upon Tyne by @mcstone14
