Been reflecting on this year and my art. Coming from only doing art as a hobby to it being my full time vocation as a student was an exciting prospect, but having been an art student for almost 2 years, the joy of making art hasn’t resurfaced for some time. Blaming it on studies alone would be a cop out but I have to acknowledge the feeling just isn’t the same. The thought of having to rely on my skills alone for survival in the future is a terrifying one, especially in such an aggressive industry where everyone is striving to get their piece of the pie. Similarly, the thought of doing anything else except art is equally frightening. If you’re still reading you’re probably wondering how this will end and to be honest I have no idea. Art was my first love and one of the only things that made sense to me in this crazy world. Advice I’ve gotten on how to improve is to keep drawing, but how do you make that decision to keep drawing, what keeps the passion going? What informs the decision to put pen to paper? by @mctoshhdraws

DESK JOCKEY VOL.1💽

A zine about pencil pushing desk jobs. What else could you want after a long day at the office, grinding reports and dealing with coworkers? The Groove. It sets you free and things can get a little wild. So get up, move your body and let the DJ turn those lows into magnetic highs.🕺🪩💃

Enjoy✨

I’m very proud of this project (despite changing my topic midway through). I’ve learned a lot and hope whoever sees this has as much joy flipping through as I did making this.

🌍✨Buckets of joy, without the waste! An illustration for a ‘limited-edition’ KFC promo bucket for their new sustainable packaging campaign. The theme? Be Part of the Solution. So I cooked up a whimsical city of flying chicken, paper planes, and plastic-free dreams. 🍗🌿

This one’s for the eco-warriors who still crave crispy wings and clever design. Small shifts, big bites, bold impact. 🛻♻️
Illustrated with love, sass and zero plastic. 💥

✨🍗 Finger-lickin’ good… for the planet too! 🌍
This was such a fun assignment. I got to designing KFC’s new plastic-free bucket for a ‘limited edition’ “Be Part of the Solution” campaign. From paper skies to illustrated cityscapes, every detail is a step toward a greener bite. 🛻🌤️

Big love to brands who actually care, and creatives who make messages matter. Now we’re not just eating the chicken… we’re serving change. 🐔💥

💭🚽 “I swear I’m working.”
This New Yorker cover concept is based on Jonah Lehrer’s essay The Virtues of Daydreaming — a love letter to zoning out.

Turns out, the brain does its best work when we’re not trying too hard — like on the loo, mid-scroll, or just staring into space.
Inspired by the idea that creativity often sneaks up on us when we least expect it.

🧠🪴 The Internet, Tamed?
My latest editorial illustrations explore the complex (and controversial) history of Section 230 — the legal code that quietly shaped the modern internet as we know it.

Through metaphor and narrative, I visualized the digital world as an overgrown, chaotic garden — once full of potential, now tangled by unchecked growth. Who’s responsible for pruning it? And who decides what should grow next?

Swipe through and see how the impacts of Section 230 may have given the internet we deserved.
