And yet MAGA will pine for the days when we used to be friends with people of opposing political parties. I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to have a relationship with people who think I shouldn't exist or who believe that vaccines are unnecessary or people who don't oppose genocide. Those beliefs are inherently harmful not just on a micro scale, but on the macro as well. So yes, politics ARE that deep. It reveals what is important to you. by @mcv_usmc

And it's not just evangelicals. My father is a narcissistic "born again Christian" and all it did was give him the religious vocabulary to manipulate people into providing him free labor and convince four more women to marry him after his first three marriages failed.

It's not to say that all Christians out Christianity as a whole is bad. But religion is used as a tool by terrible people to manipulate and control, and we need to remain vigilant about who we allow to have that strong an influence over our lives. by @mcv_usmc

This victim of police brutality wasn't even the perpetrator of the crime. He was a passenger in the car. There was zero probably cause to believe he had done anything wrong as far as ANY report can tell right now. The footage shows exactly what happened. Anyone who thinks racism is a non issue in this country needs their heads examined, because they cannot be mentally sound. Black people do not hang themselves from trees. Police target people of color in brutal attacks. Stop burying your heads in the sand. by @mcv_usmc
