Punching’ out. by @mcwhortercreative

Really excited to share new work for some family friends down at @thefieldsgolfclub I can’t wait to see Ashley, Mike & co give the Mule its own personality that matches the grit, quirkiness, and authenticity of The Fields. by @mcwhortercreative

Let’s consider this a love letter to ADHD.

And I’m not a painter. by @mcwhortercreative

Well, at least on Friday the Dawgs held up their end of the bargain; taking back the Dooley-Dye Cup at the Rose. Saturday was another story, one we will choose to forget.

Huge thanks to our captain, @lowerythomas and all of the incredible folks at The Rose. Nick, Dimitri, and their team have built a special place that’s only going to get better. by @mcwhortercreative

I played like a dog and had to resist the urge to jump off Lookout Mountain at times, but it was a great experience playing in the Georgia State Mid-Am. Lookout Mountain Club lived up to the hype as a very difficult test, beautiful setting, and a great hang. Big thanks to @lookoutmountainclub and my client, @gsga1916 . I hope it isn’t my last, but I’ll have to get better to hang with these real golfers. by @mcwhortercreative

Man, we explored a lot of directions for High Grove. This was a difficult but fun project. Thanks to @rlhcards for your support and the opportunity to work on such an awesome project. Now I just have to get down there to see it for myself! by @mcwhortercreative

BUT YOUR WORK IS TOO CARTOON-Y...

Right after I get off a call where I'm reassuring a potential client that our design aesthetic can be adapted to fit a project's specific needs, I switch gears to put the finishing touches on this guy.

Sometimes you get an assignment where leaning into an certain aesthetic is the best solution.

At times I bristle at the notion that I draw "golf cartoons". At times I lean into it, because thats what's needed.

The Sweetens Wiener Classic was just begging for a fun, irreverent image of a golfing wiener sipping a bottle of @sweetenscovespirits

...and I find nothing wrong with that. But is this really my job? Yes. Yes, it is. by @mcwhortercreative
