Competed at Pans Nogi this past weekend. I flubbed it in the beginning but was able to dig deep and make it to the open finals. Big shoutouts to my brother @shortroundbjj for being an amazing teammate and coach. He gave me amazing feedback where we were able to make adjustments and really scrap it out each match. Thank you to my team @crazy88severnapark @crazy88mma @crazy88owingsmills I couldn’t have done this without y’all.

In the spirit of transparency, I lost someone very close to me these past couple of months and it was truly hard to regulate my emotions leading up to this. Losing him has been hard and I miss him everyday. But through this tournament I remembered how my Gramps is a fighter and so am I. I’ll keep pushing and fighting to the very end just like he did. I’ll forever love you.

Had a small squad go down to Atlanta for ADCC but we put in work!! A lot of milestones achieved this weekend! Was happy to do battle with some amazing opponents and fighting under a different ruleset.

Big moves this weekend. The squad @crazy88mma @lloydirvinmma put in work this past weekend at IBJJF Virginia open. The camaraderie is what you want when your team is making a statement at a tournament and win BOTH TEAM TITLES. Our athletes went out there and killed it!!!

This was also a big step for me going into my first Ibjjf as a purple belt and all I can say is…trust the process and keep moving forward.

My first year at purple and surprisingly one of my most dominant runs for a year. Competed at 9 tournaments and medaled at all 9. Got gold 🥇8 out of the 9 tournaments in new divisions from a variety of rulesets. I really have to really thank my team @crazy88severnapark for all the growth I’ve received as a jiujitsu competitor. All I can really say is that…please, trust the process.

2025 was a year of injuries and personal life struggles but I can honestly say jiujitsu is one of those reasons I was able to stay sane. My gym was a place where I can exercise, work towards personal goals (in jiujitsu), and be surrounded by a good community who always had my back whenever my mental health was in a pinch.

2026, the plan doesn’t change. Still going on these crazy tournament adventures with my team, see the world, meet new ppl who love this sport, and just get better at it. I hope all of you reading this feel the same and have that happy place (your mma gym of course) where you can flourish!! Looking forward to 2026!!

I knew this was going to be a fun trip…and it did not fail. The team went out to Louisville (pronounced Luh-on-L-Veal), Kentucky at ADCC!

Did well in my division as did others. Lots of learning experiences to be made before PANs NoGi. Even met great ppl along the way, hoping to share the mats with them again!

As crazy as our experience was, we all were able to bond as a team and enjoy the comradery. Big thanks to @shortroundbjj and @jamilbjj for coaching the team through the entire event, even fighting refs on our behalves 🤣

Competed at New Breed tournament to show off the new Rebels gi by @kalinawbjj inspired by the Philippine’s revolution.

Funny thing was that I was still able to keep a sharp gi game by helping my teammates prep for masters worlds.

Competed in the summer VA ibjjf open today. Getting ready for the upcoming majors later in the year. This was a good start after months of dealing with knee issues but the grind didn’t stop!
