You don't stop loving them. You don't forget them. And you will never stop missing them. It doesn't get easier with time, you just get used to having that piece of you absent from your life. We journey forward, living the best that we can without them in it.

Today is a difficult one. It has been one whole year since we had to say goodbye, yet it still feels like yesterday. Our 13 years together was never going to be long enough, but I know that you'll be waiting for us over the rainbow bridge some day. We love and miss you every single day, sweet man. by @mdefranito

You were our favorite hello and our absolute hardest goodbye.

We will never forget the day we met you for the first time. We were completely unaware of how much you would mean to us. You were my soul dog, my whole heart. We had a wonderful and very special 13 years together, and it was such a privilege to be your fur momma. Wait for me in the rainbow, Gunner.

Until we meet again, my sweet man. We love you always and forever. by @mdefranito
