After 13 years at New Seasons, Wednesday was my last day.

Providence is a powerful thing. Unsettling, too, if I'm honest. But I wasn't caught off guard.
I'm proud to announce the launch of Sassy Sasquatch Designs, apparel and gifts fueled by sass, powered by faith, and built by family. The name is Naomi's fault, for the record.

50 items live now, including some of her artwork. Grad and Father's Day gifts in the mix if you're looking.

You know me. This is but one of my skills. There's more coming.

Link in bio.

Delayed ourselves at Wall, SD gonna be getting to Fort Wayne WAY later than we wanted but we needed a good fun break. No way was I giving Zoltar any money, I've seen that movie before.. And I was a bit disappointed there were not photos of historical restrooms. taken in Wall Drug by @mdhalbrook

Today we say goodbye to the place we've called home for over half our lives, in the case of @naomi_the_band_nerd, all her life. Almost 30 years, through laughter and tears, joy and sorrow. Marriage, the birth of two kids and the loss of one, Vancouver has been home. As we set out on this new adventure, we can't say thank you enough to the friends and family who stood with us through it all. You will be missed, and loved. Goodbye Vancouver, hello Ft. Wayne. by @mdhalbrook

Experiment number two. Dubbed it Alabama Fair BBQ. Putting a spin on the classic Alabama White Sauce by incorporating lemon, parsley, sage, rosemary, and thyme. Tinkered with the potatoes using the sauce mixed with buttermilk, and served with straightforward sautéed green beans finished with balsamic drizzle. by @mdhalbrook
