Meet Ryan! 🤍 Originally from Indiana, Ryan earned her Interior Design degree from Indiana University and has worked in the field since 2016. Ryan’s time with MDI began while living in Charleston and evolved to working remotely from Long Beach, California, where she now lives.

As MDI’s Design Development Manager, Ryan provides direct support to the design department and strengthens internal processes, helping the team’s work run smoothly.

Outside the office, you’ll find Ryan walking her neighborhood with husband Sammy, cooking, or getting lost in a good book—book club is a monthly highlight! We’re so happy to have Ryan on the MDI team! ✨ taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

A little party hopping in Birmingham with the MDI team! ✨ From a lovely evening at the home of @paulbatesarchitects hosted alongside @adacatlanta to the spectacular @antiquesgardensbham gala, it was a few days filled with great company, beautiful spaces, and catching up with friends in the design community.
A special thank you to our longtime partners @mccorquodale_transfer for including us in the festivities and being such wonderful hosts. What a fun few days! taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

You asked, Grace and Sabrina are answering! A little while back, we invited you to send in your questions on our Stories. Now we’re sitting down to talk through some of them. ✨Stay tuned for part two next week, when we’re talking color, pattern and our favorite shades of white paint!

Have another question? Leave it in the comments. Our team is always happy to help! taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

Swinging into fall the right way! A fabulous spot for curling up during an afternoon storm or stretching out with a good book on a chilly morning. ✨

Back on Kiawah today for the finishing touches 🎨 After a big installation last week, today is all about getting the art in place and bringing this home one step closer to complete. We can’t wait to share the final look soon! taken in Kiawah Island, South Carolina by @mdiluxurydesign

Margaret is taking the stage at @adacatlanta 🎤 On October 28, she’ll be speaking at Get Down to Business: A Deeper Dive, joining fellow design professionals for a day of honest conversations about the business behind the work. We’re excited for her to share what she’s learned building MDI and to hear the perspectives everyone brings to the room.

If you’ll be in Atlanta, we’d love to see you there! Tickets are available through @adacatlanta taken in Atlanta, GA by @mdiluxurydesign

A little bridal lunch for Sarah Beth & Davis. 🤍 We always love coming together to celebrate the big life moments with our team, and this was a very special one. So happy for these two and so excited for everything ahead! 💍 taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

One person’s trash is an interior designer’s treasure. Blue tape, paint swatches, fabric samples, dog treats, toilet paper… and they left empty-handed? taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

A happy hour at the MDI Luxury Design studio with our friends at Daniel Ravenel Sotheby’s International Realty! 🥂

We loved welcoming @ruthieravenel team of agents from @danielravenelsir into our studio, giving them a look behind the scenes, and sharing more about how MDI works with clients. Both of our teams are focused on serving Charleston’s top clientele with the same level of care and service — so it was a natural fit to bring everyone together!

Thank you all for spending the evening with us. We’re grateful for the relationship and can’t wait to see what’s next! 🤍 taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

Closing the doors on summer, quite literally. This multipurpose room is more than a place for movie nights. Behind the paneled doors are four hidden bunk beds, designed with a full house and summer guests in mind. After a season well spent, they’re tucked away until next time. ✨

Happy first day of fall! We took inspiration from the season and created a living room palette that feels especially good after a long, hot lowcountry summer. 🍂 taken in MDI Luxury Design by @mdiluxurydesign

Tomorrow makes it official, but Fall in the Lowcountry plays by its own rules. The days may still feel like summer, but the evenings finally invite us back outside. Dinner on the porch with an ocean breeze? That’s hard to beat! 🌾
