Feeling blessed to be able to say that I will be playing alongside @itsdjnix as our duo project @wearedoses at EDC Las Vegas! Catch us on at midnight on Friday at the Blacklight Bar between kineticFIELD and stereoBLOOM. It would mean a a lot of yall could favorite/save us on the insomniac app as well!

Huge thank you to Insomniac for putting us on and giving us the opportunity. HMU if you’re gonna be at EDC, we’d love to see you! Especially before our set, let’s meet up! taken in Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC) by @mdmg.exe

Another one in the books! Not gonna lie, this was probably the hardest groove cruise I've ever worked. The cruise ship industry requires everyone to not only be vaccinated, but to also test negative 48hrs or less before boarding, extremely strict, but also necessary for everyone's safety. Because of this, many people did not make it onboard, including the working staff necessary to run the event. Production got hit the worst, but we kicked it into overdrive all weekend. Anyone who possessed a skillset that was able to assist outside of their expected responsibilities stepped in and stepped up. Even Jason was in there helping to push giant subwoofers to the stages they needed to be. It was incredibly exhausting but also so rewarding to know that the attendees that were on this boat came had time of their lives.
And I can't wait to do it again.
Love this team. ❤️

EDIT: ugh hit the tag limit on the photo.

2020 was a tough year, but I was fortunate to still find a way to do what I love to do. You had to be crazy to try to throw an event during a worldwide quarantine. But we figured it out and on June 2020, about 2.5 months into quarantine we threw one of the first drive in music festivals in the US. And most importantly, we did it while keeping everyone safe. I’m so proud of this little team. What we endured and the obstacles we overcame was just complete and utter insanity. But it was all worth it. Our team is small, but we are mighty. 💪🏼 by @mdmg.exe

Another trip around the sun. 2020 hasn’t been the best year, but I’m still thankful for what I have. The comeback will be better than the setback. Thank you to everyone that has, called, texted, and FaceTimed me. And Thank you in advance to anyone that reaches out to me afterward, haha. Also, the club ain’t open, this photo is from 2 years ago. 😆 taken in Time Nightclub by @mdmg.exe

Most people don’t know, but me and Donovan go wayyyyy back. Like we DJ’ed weddings and other private events before we kinda started doing our own respective things with Sutra/Time and The Feelgood Collective. Every since then, we’ve never really gotten to do what we did back when were we played together. Like yeah I booked him to play at Sutra and Time, and he booked me to played at Feelgood Collective. But prior to this, we haven’t played together since those days of weddings and private events. I’m not sure if we would have done this if COVID-19 and quarantine would have happened, but I’m glad it happened. Thankful for the opportunity and the nostalgia.

Of all the weekends during quarantine so far, this weekend hits just a bit differently from the rest. EDC 2020. Weird to be home and a spectator rather than out in the desert and on that speedway til sunrise for the next 3 days. I miss that exhaustion. I miss that stress. I miss being with this amazing team and that feeling when it’s all over and we see each other and we’re just like “fuuuuuuuck yeah, we did it”. Whether we see each other at every festival in between or if we see each other once a year, I miss seeing everyone come together to execute this monstrosity of a festival. Nothing but massive ❤️ for you all. Stay safe, stay healthy, stay strong. Hope to see you all again.

CrossFit Games 2019. Accepting this DJ gig really took me out of my comfort zone in more ways than one. -I’ve never traveled out of California for a gig before. This was in Madison, Wisconsin.
-I’ve never had to DJ for more than one day. This was 3 days straight. For 6 hours a day. And it needed to be hip hop, CLEAN hip hop. No swearing. 😂
-I’ve never used Serato to DJ before this gig and I had to learn while DJing in front of a couple thousand people. Fortunately, if your foundation is solid, you essentially only need the jog wheels, cue and play button, and tempo slider. And for those 6 hours each day, between each song transition, I used the time to explore and learn the functions of serato.
I learned a lot taking on this gig. And the saying definitely holds true, “Step outside your comfort zone because that’s the only way you’re going to grow.” Thank you @djluckylou for the opportunity. 🙏🏼 taken in CrossFit Games 2019 Live by @mdmg.exe
