BEAUX IS BACK BABY ❤️

The @beauxnightclub Instagram account has officially been restored by @meta @instagram — and we need you to know: this happened because our community showed up.

To every single person who messaged us, shared our posts, tagged someone, made a call, sent an email, reached out to a contact, or simply raised your voice for #BeauxSF — thank you. We saw you. We felt your support. And it mattered.

The last few days reminded us exactly why we love the Castro and this incredible LGBTQ+ community so much. When one of us needs help, we show up. And when enough of us stand together and speak loudly, people listen.

There are some people and organizations who went above and beyond to help raise the alarm, and we want to give them a very special thank you:

@ladycamden
@honeymahogany
@tthegrimes
@usatbeaux
@sfpowerhouse
@studsf
@darcydrollinger
@theoasissf
@48hillssf
@scott_wiener
@danielluriesf
@piranhavegas

And to the @meta employees who stepped up behind the scenes and wish to remain anonymous — thank you.

We truly could not have done this without all of you.

This was bigger than getting an Instagram account back. LGBTQ+ voices, stories, businesses, spaces, and history deserve to be seen and protected.

Keep showing up for each other. Keep speaking up. Keep making your voices heard.

Together, we are impossible to ignore. 🏳️‍🌈❤️ taken in Beaux by @mdmstudios

UPDATED POST @beauxnightclub account has been restored. We will keep this post up for record. 🚨 @beauxnightclub account deactivated again! 🚨 COMMUNITY CALL TO ACTION: PLEASE SHARE + TAG @instagram @meta - any and all media outlets, elected officials, meta employees, and anyone who can help.

Last night, Instagram suspended Beaux’ THIRD account @beauxnightclub without any warning or violations of community guidelines.

Our previous account @beauxincastro was deleted in April 2026, following the loss of our original account @beauxinthecastro in 2025. Across three accounts, more than 25,000 followers, irreplaceable photos and videos of LGBTQ history — and years of community connection — have been erased.

And Beaux is not alone.

LGBTQ+ bars, nightclubs, performers and creators in San Francisco, across the country, and the world have reported accounts being suspended, restricted or removed without warning or violation of community guidelines.

It is time to sound the alarm.

If this has happened to you or your organization, tell your story in the comments. Tag journalists, elected officials, LGBTQ+ organizations and community leaders. Help us make this impossible to ignore.

We are calling on @meta and @instagram to restore Beaux’s account and address why LGBTQ+ businesses and creators continue to report these takedowns.

3 accounts. 24,000+ followers lost. Enough.
