Something i am not the greatest at is making new friends/meeting new people. I struggle at it. This summer changed that. About halfway through the summer I found a run club on instragram in kalamazoo. I commented on a post that the club posted saying "this looks a like a lot fun". At first I was not sure if I should go or not, but after about a month I thought I would go and check it out. Tbh, it was one of the best decisions that I made. The first run i went to I felt welcomed and apart of something. I did not feel uncomfortable, did not feel nervous, anything. I felt excited that I finally found a community of people 🙌. Something I can go to during the week after work when I am able to and end the day on a high note. Kzoo run club has given me many friends this year and a community of amazing people that i thought i would never meet. Grateful for this group of people/friends!!❤️🙏 by @mdog20254

Visiting you is always so hard 😞. I miss doing chores with you, you teaching me new things, being a leader to me. You will always be a mentor to me and someone that I looked up to! Love you and miss you, dad!!❤️ by @mdog20254

Summer 2026 was definitely one for the books. Joined a run club and started running again. Went to the Battle Creek field of flight air show. Got to see my niece after two long years. Went fishing for the first time. Stayed consistent in the gym 💪. Made a lot of new friends and am so grateful for each of them!! ❤️. Grateful for what this summer gave me and all the memories that were made!! Thank you summer 2026! Much love!! 💪🙂❤️ by @mdog20254

Wanted to give a big shoutout to a very special person! Jessie, thank you!! For setting up a run club where people from around the kalamazoo area could come together to run, meet new people, make friendships and be in community with each other!!! It's not easy setting something up like this, but you made it happen and I can't thank you enough. I have met a lot of new people from this run club. Found a new community! Got back into running after a year! And it's all because of you starting a run club! I appreciate you! And so does so many other people! Thank you for being so welcoming, a great friend, and just being you! Thank you, jessie!! ❤️❤️😊 by @mdog20254

The past few weeks have been something really special! I have gone fishing, been consistent in the gym, and getting back into running. Tbh, though, i really didn't think after about a year being away from running that i would run again. Especially dealing with knee problems for a while! But, I am so grateful that I chose to join this run club and get back at it! It has been so much fun meeting new people at each run. Thank you to @jnzesiger for starting this group!! It truly has been so much fun!! 🙂❤️. Looking forward to meeting more people and more runs!! 😊 by @mdog20254

5 years ago you left your family/friends suddenly 💔. Somedays are easy, but other days are very hard. I'll never forget the talented, hardworking, driven, caring, loving, father you were! You might be gone, but that doesn't stop me from celebrating the dad you once was! I'll always cherish the memories and who you were! I love you so much dad!! Happy father's day! 💪❤️ by @mdog20254
