Last Friday, we welcomed Dr. J. Bradley Baker, Director of Opera at the University of Maryland, for an insightful masterclass on applying to young artist programs and building a strong professional resume!

Last week we had the privilege of talking to composer, Shuying Li and librettist, Omari Tau about their new work opera: “The Leader.”

Every year a guest composer and librettist commission a new work opera for the MOS first year students. This project is a great opportunity for the singers to enhance their musical learning skills and adapt to new operatic styles.
