This is for Luna. Prognosis: 3-4 months. Reality: happy and thriving a full year later.

But in order to get here we questioned everything, changed everything and refused to accept defeat. Found new vets, dove deep into holistic medicine, switched to homemade cancer-fighting super food, cannabis therapy, turkey tail mushroom loading, and explored other supplements and alternative therapies.

Lesson inked and reminder to us all. Don’t accept bad news as final, never stop looking for answers and don’t ignore the importance of the things we choose to fuel our bodies and minds (and our pets!!). Never give up. And fuck cancer.
