Fun fact.. I've helped start many of the new developments they celebrate in SW Oak Cliff, Buckner Terrace, Pleasant Grove, and dozens of starter homes in West Dallas. I'm looking forward to what the future holds. by @mdot214

Chicago owes us nothing! 🏢

A couple of weeks ago we stepped onto the campus of the #obamapresidentialcenter and our souls came alive‼️

The landscape. The garden. The history. The museum. The vision. The collective unity.

Most Important…The hope.

We were grateful to bear witness to this beautiful and thoughtful monument celebrating the magnificence of OUR President @barackobama, First Lady @michelleobama, Sasha and Malia.

Thank you for this everlasting gift to the people that we shall and should never take for granted.

And of course…the @chicago food never disappoints. Awesome food @cantbelieveitsnotmeatinc and dessert from @solato.official.

Special shout out to my love, my pawt-nuh in all things @mdot214 (one more memory down and a lifetime to go babe).

Can’t wait for round 2 of the museum. Next time I’ll bring the sides for the cookout 😝🍽️

We finished the night watching the big race from home but it was still crazy exciting. w/ @mdot214 by @mdot214

$400,000 to 200 church members that have been furloughed or laid off. Concord Church is so special, from Pastor Carter @mrbryanlcarter on down. We love our Church!! A Church that sees what people are going through!! Pastor Carter, Pastor Rick Jordan and Pastor Porter @marapor helped me when I needed it years ago. I bet many have a similar story 🙏🏾#WeGrowPeople #Dallas by @mdot214

A #PHILLY MOMENT. Security said "don't touch Frankie" but I said, "you're Germantown's Finest Mr. Beverly," and he shook my hand for like a minute. Mr. Beverly and my stepdad Rod #RIP went to the same HS a few years apart, grew up blocks apart, and this was his favorite singer..I felt him there with me. We also got to hang backstage and follow behind as they walked out. The O'Jays and The Whispers were jamming (I know EVERY Whispers hit and the Rock Steady dance 🕺🏿) Thanks to the wife for a fun family night in the fourth row!! Also shout out to Erica's friend Roland and The O'Jays guitar player who is from my hood.

Happy Father's Day to the two men that had the most impact on my life by far.. My father and my stepdad. My Dad was a Philly racing legend turned history-making salesman, my stepdad Rod #RIP was a small business owner who opened on one of the wildest blocks in the city, and reminded me of Furious Styles in Boyz in the Hood. Real men. Stand up individuals. by @mdot214

What can be said that already hasn't been said by others? Everything I did in West Dallas I always had a few people in my heart (and in my ear), and Raul was one of them.

He's one of the people you look to see whenever you're in a West Dallas meeting, when it wasn't 'popular' he said what needed saying. One of the realest and most truthful people you will ever meet. Some people are irreplaceable, and their hard work leaves a legacy. The last time I saw him I told him, "love you bro." 💔 🕊️Ten toes down. Raul is irreplaceable. #WestDallas #WestDallasOne by @mdot214

These two ...Going back almost 20 years love them both. Two of my Big Mommas in South Dallas, Miss Ragsdale and Mrs Coleman. #SouthDallas 👑 by @mdot214

Historic District home expansion, added a story to it and renewed again. Reminding myself I've the work I've done... by @mdot214

I got to catch up with a friend yesterday. The first time we met some years back, it was about economic development. This time we talked about the need for more focus and funding on Black and Hispanic women's health. He'll make it happen. Let's go Beto! #betofortexas #fibroids #RedAlertMovie by @mdot214

A few days ago.. At the bridge commemorating #BloodySunday in March 1965 when sacrifices were made that changed the world. You feel it when you're there. #Selma #NeverForget by @mdot214
