Zero doubt in the brutal backcountry.

After miles of intense bushwhacking through Northern BC for a 9-year-old Stone Sheep, Tom Johnson’s gear took a serious beating. But when it was time to pull the trigger, his zero was dead-on.

“The Air Armor Tech Scope Cover gave me the peace of mind that my system was still dialed, even after arguably one of the hardest and most physically demanding hunts in the world. If I didn’t have it on for the hike in and all the bush wackin we did, I’m not sure I would’ve taken a 445yard shot.”

•The Shot: 445 yards | 5,200ft elevation | 10-20 mph crosswinds
•The Setup: @christensenarms Ridgeline FFT Titanium (7mm PRC) | @mdttac21 HUNT26 Chassis & Bipod | @leupoldoptics VX-6 Gen 2 | TriggerTech Special | Air Armor Tech Extreme 16 Scope Cover

Incredible work, Tom! 👊🇺🇸

It’s moose season up here! Weather is changing and colors are changing faster. Always suprising how fast the green turns to red, yellow and orange! Starting to see some good bulls, but still looking for the one! Good times with great people! @mtn.forged @leupoldoptics by @mdt_hunts

First sheep hunt 2026 is in the books! We had a fantastic first day seeing a tonne of ewes and lambs just didn’t find any mature rams! That evening got caught up in a pretty nasty thunderstorm and ended up heading out in the morning instead of hunting the second day as planned. Overall was a great trip!
