"i could not contain myself any longer
i ran to the ocean
in the middle of the night
and confessed my love for you to the water
as i finished telling her
the salt in her body became sugar"

Let them call it rebellion. Let them call it defiance.

Refuse to swallow your own voice to keep their peace. Hold back the tears, plant your feet firmly on the ground, and refuse to be edited out of your own story. You do not owe the world an apology for taking up room—you are going to carve out your own place in it, and nothing can stop you. by @me_omnium
