🪶🐦‍🔥🪽 Ian Latham talking about his work ”If the sky resembled more the sea”, a flock of birds made of water, growing, surrounding you, screaming like starlings.

The work takes its title from John Berryman’s final Dream Song, No. 385, which touches obliquely on the difficulty of reconciling the spiritual and the physical. A haunting use of AR to expand an artwork into the whole gallery space, giving weight and noise to that without physical form.

🧶🪞✨ Selin Öztürk talking about her work Self-Portrait, six virtual Turkish rugs, each representing an era of transformation in her life.

Using motifs from a rug encyclopaedia, Selin turns one of storytelling’s oldest forms into self-presentation. The rug on the plinth stands for her birth, the open rug for who she is today, while the rest hang around the space, present but less visible ~ a beautiful use of AR to carry an age-old tradition into virtual space.

DIGITALISM @britishartfair has been a wonderful moment in my career.

Collaborating with @maxcelar of @meadow.space has taken me out of my comfort zone and stretched my practice. Max took my ideas around my Reliquary series and extended them beyond the sculpture, literally. He created a portal to another world, rewilded it and then brought it out into the gallery space. It is a magical experience and was enjoyed by hundreds of visitors to the Saatchi gallery this week.

@meadow.space is a platform for creators to make their own Augmented Reality works.

Huge thanks to #DIGITALISM curator and friend @rebekahtolleydigitalist for bringing us together and creating a wonderful show. taken in Saatchi Gallery Kings Road by @meadow.space

🌊💨🐴 Dan Tommi talking about his work Pearl Nose, a virtual sea horse affected by the wind speed and direction at the island of Vinga, outside Gothenburg.

By connecting the artwork to a publicly available API with weather data, Dan creates a digital experience affected by real weather patterns. A brilliant use of AR showing its capability to connect the real and the virtual in strange and unexpected ways.

Pearl Nose is shown the Fifth Plinth on Meadow, Digitalism at @britishartfair, curated by @rebekahtolleydigitalist

What can we know about the people who live inside from what they hang outside? 👖

What We Hang Outside brings the quiet portraits carried by the clothes drying on my grandparents’ rooftop into the gallery. Something ordinary and intimate becomes a space you can walk through. As you move closer, voices from inside the house emerge.

Super excited to be showing new AR work through @meadow.space for this year’s Digitalism at @saatchi_gallery for the @britishartfair 2026!

A big thank you to @rebekahtolleydigitalist for making this happen 🧡
