To keep it totally real, before this shoot I was struggling with a bout of depression. Just loneliness, I think? But being outside in this beautiful spot with other businesswomen completely turned that around.

The outdated understanding of Spokane says that this is not a place worth visiting or living. But the opposite is true — we are a thriving community of craftswomen, artists, builders and visionaries who work everyday to keep our dreams alive and our city thriving. I wouldnt be be here if it weren’t for two women specifically, and over 2026 I’ve met more amazing women and people than I can count.

It’s so easy to take pretty pictures when this is the landscape, the event design, and these are the smiles that pour out. ❤️

What a gift it is to photograph couples at the start of the rest of their lives.

I can’t believe nine years ago I got on a plane to photograph my best friends’ sister’s wedding in France. That day changed all of our lives, with countless stories that pour out from my memories. It all still feels so fresh when I think about it 💫💘📸💒

Happy anniversary to Carly & Jeff, who now have three kids and still travel the world constantly 💕

Would you believe me if I said that this feeling never fades? I am 13 years into shooting weddings, and I still laugh with you, cry with you, and get down with you on the dance floor. I’ll never forget the first wedding I shot (Amber & Kody) and first time I experienced the rush of running from place to place to make sure I captured everything. I knew then and there, this was what I was made to do. It’s not lost on me how special it is to be at your side through your happiest day — I cherish it and I feel so grateful to be doing this with you 💫💒💘📸
