Exciting news from Meadowmount! We’ve received a $75,750 grant to complete critical repairs to Campe Concert Hall and our on-campus dormitories. Work is already underway, helping preserve this historic Adirondack Park landmark for our students, audiences, and community for summers to come.

This project has been funded in part by a grant from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, Adirondack Park Community Smart Growth Program through appropriations from the New York State Environmental Protection Fund (EPF).

Thank you to NYS Department of Environmental Conservation, Commissioner Amanda Lefton, and the entire DEC team for their support! by @meadowmountschool

🌟🎶 Meadowmount 2026 🎶🌟

Wow. No words can fully capture the experience of this summer. I'll need a minute to fully process everything. I'll continue to share more mementos and memories in the days/weeks to come.

For now, I'll share this one thought about this summer-- I was truly overcome by the dedication and devotion by all of our students, faculty, pianists, and guest artists. From early morning lessons to late-night rehearsals and coachings to exhilarating performances, everyone showed up with 120% because they wanted to and for the sheer love of music and music-making. We all experienced it together, as a community, and one can't help but be changed after doing this together for 7 weeks.

I don't think words can describe this feeling, but I hope everyone who experienced it will continue to carry that feeling onwards and find ways to also share it beyond MMT.

My heartfelt thanks to all of our young artists, artist faculty and pianists, guest artists, and supporters for an unforgettable summer, and of course, our admin and staff who keep everything running as smoothly as possible. It takes a big village, and what an amazing village we have!

More to share soon.

THANK YOU!!!

Meadowmount is so grateful to have been awarded a grant from @essexcommunityfund_adk through @adkcommunityfdn !🎻

This support helped bring one of our community concerts to St. John’s Episcopal Church in Essex, sharing Meadowmount’s music with neighbors right here in the North Country.

We’re so grateful to the Essex Community Fund at Adirondack Community Foundation for helping us bring arts and cultural experiences to the wonderful community we call home! 💚

Last night’s end-of-summer benefit concert, The Great Meadowmount Celebration, included three major announcements. The evening’s leading announcement was the extension of Artistic Director Janet Sung’s tenure through the summer of 2030! Meadowmount also announced the renewal of Executive Director Genevieve Twomey’s contract. 🎉

The evening’s celebration additionally honored the extraordinary legacy of longtime Meadowmount faculty member Margaret Pardee with the renaming of the school’s Annex Dormitory as Pardee. 💚🏠

And, the concert celebrated Meadowmount’s growing partnership with Champlain Area Trails (CATS), highlighted by the recent opening of the Meadowmount Forest Trail and the Mount Inez Trail on Saturday, August 1st. 🌲🥾🐾
