POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
Full send at the Chicago Marathon — 2:45:02.

It wasn’t the day we wanted, but it sure was fun (well, the first half at least 😂). We’ll do a full recap on the podcast this week.

Mostly just here to say thank you. Thank you for the cheers, the encouragement and all the kind messages. I felt nothing but love and support yesterday. And a big thanks to @coachkastor for getting me to the start line healthy and pushing me to go after the big, moonshot goals.

Feeling a little disappointed, for sure, but mostly just eager for the next starting line.

“Easy” — said with an Australian accent — has to be my favorite phrase of the trip. Ordering coffee? Easy. Need a hand with your bags? Easy. It’s the Aussie response I’m absolutely bringing home with me.

Race day was less “easy” and more of a grind. Meghann and I had a goal of running anywhere between 2:55 and 3:15 depending on how we felt (that long-haul flight is no joke), so we went out with the 3-hour group, who were clicking off 6:40s while the two of us quietly wondered how they planned to thread 2:59:59. But the atmosphere carried us. Easy.

Then GI issues forced a stop around mile 18, and everything after that was a fight. I couldn’t get fuel down, and the smile I’d worn for the first 15 miles turned into a full grimace. Meghann hyped the crowd, kept it positive, and got approximately zero words back from me. I can’t stop laughing looking back at our race photos. They really captured the day.

And even when I wanted nothing more than to be done, that finish has to be one of the most epic in the world. The arch standing in front of the Opera House is burned into my brain forever.

We almost never give ourselves downtime after a big race, but this time we stuck around to meet the local wildlife (life highlight, no notes) and post up on the beach at Bondi.

Huge thank you to ASICS for the opportunity. I had no idea what to expect from Australia, and I’m already scheming a way back. What a beautiful, wonderful week. ❤️ by @meaghanjmurray

The Delta attendant at the airport asked how many times I’ve run Boston. When I said five, her follow-up was, “What keeps bringing you back?”

I told her it’s equal parts work and fun — but really, those two are one and the same. Boston Marathon weekend will always be my favorite. From shakeout runs to relays to race day, it’s the most exhausting fun, and I’m just grateful I get to experience it all.

As for the race itself, despite what might’ve been the best weather Boston has ever delivered, my body just didn’t have the gear I thought it would. Even on my favorite downhills, I couldn’t quite get my legs to turn over the way I wanted. Still, my glutes would argue I left it all out there, and I can live with that.

Thank you all so much for all the cheers and support out there. What an incredible weekend. 💙💛

I still can’t believe this is part of my job, or that I get to share a stage with some of the most incredible women in our sport.

This weekend, we held the Move Her Mind Summit with ASICS in Culver City after thirteen stops in 2025. We heard from community leaders, the women behind ASICS product, and closed the night in conversation with some amazing ASICS athletes.

And of course, we wrapped it all up in the best way possible: racing 13.1 miles through some (quite steep) hills in Pasadena.

A week ago today I was in Paris for Breaking4 with Nike, which honestly still feels like a dream. Just being in Paris for ‘work’ was beyond anything I ever imagined. And being in the same room as Eliud Kipchoge? Completely surreal.

There’s been a lot of conversation around Breaking4 - the attempt, the timing, the marketing. And I get all of it.

But the most beautiful part of it all? People everywhere were talking about women’s running. About Faith. About dreaming big. About what’s possible. And that’s pretty cool.

I captured the trip, from Paris to the track, in a video on YouTube. There’s a link in my bio if you want to check it out.

A big thank you to the Nike team for this unforgettable experience, and to Faith for daring to dream. 💜🇫🇷

We’ve always had a firm rule at @believeintherun: If it’s not fun, why do it? Of course there are day to day operations that don’t have me grinning for 3 hours straight — but I am certain that we are in the right space, surrounded by the best people. And nothing showcased that more than the @nycmarathon.

After a few tough races this year, it was an absolute joy to toe the line with no goals — outside of having a blast — and that’s exactly what we did.

Thank you @nyrr and @newbalancerunning for hosting us. Thank you New York City for the cheers and amazing signs. And thanks to all of you. I truly feel so lucky to share these experiences with you all. taken in TCS New York City Marathon by @meaghanjmurray

I ran my first marathon in 2012. I signed up a few weeks beforehand never having run more than 10 miles and did a very untraditional-shortened-no-taper “training block”. I knew nothing about marathoning. No one in my family ran. None of my friends ran. I drove myself to the start and back home afterwards. I took one pack of Gatorade blocks halfway through the race. I was told that “a sub 4 hour marathon would be an amazing goal.” I ran 3:56. It was simultaneously the most anticlimactic and life changing day I can remember. The naivety really shined when I moved out of my 2-story apartment the very next day.

This past weekend I ran my 30th marathon and completed my 6th star. I spent 5 days in Berlin with some of my favorite people in the running community. We hosted a shakeout run in another country and hundreds of people showed up (really, truly grateful for all of you). It feels like a total 180 from that cold day in Baltimore 12 years ago and it’s really fun to look back at how far we’ve come — but I can’t deny that there’s still an itch for more.

“How do you feel about your race?” was a popular question on Sunday, and the answer comes with a mixture of emotions. After being hyper-focused on time goals last year, it’s been nice to run and race mostly by effort, but I’d be lying if I said it’s been just as satisfying. We’ve got a lot of great events planned for the remainder of 2024 (Chicago and NYC to name a couple), but I’m already daydreaming about fast days next year…

I’m also really, really proud of the @believeintherun team: @aubrey.running finishing his first marathon with a pacing assist from @tfneuberger, @karlfernz racing well despite a tough day, @normcorerunner snagging a perfectly executed PR, and @featherstonenutrition for continuing to prove she’s got a higher pain tolerance and more grit than anyone I know.

And a big thanks to the @adidasrunning family for taking the best care of us all weekend long. These are some core memories. ❤️ taken in BERLIN-MARATHON by @meaghanjmurray

Nine cities. Thirty group miles. Hundreds of selfies. Thousands of you.

The Move Your Mind Tour with ASICS was an absolute blast. We’re always hoping the content we create is helpful (or at least entertaining) but it was amazing to hear the stories of PR’s, newfound confidence, and enjoyment of the sport at every single stop.

Y’all are as inspiring as you are kind, and I’m so glad we had the opportunity to run with so many of you in your hometowns.

A huge thanks to our @asics family and the incredible partners who welcomed us to each city.

And of course, thanks to my twinning partner, @featherstonenutrition for balancing life, work, marathon training, travel and fun the only way we know how.

But before we close out this epic summer... 🇫🇷
