I’m still in awe of what God is doing in me, I’ve been soaking in the goodness of our Bibles at Brunch last Saturday and still can’t quite come up with the words to express how my heart is feeling.

To the incredible women who showed up, you came with open hearts, ready to break bread and become. The room was full of transparency, vulnerability, and willingness to let God speak and I’m just very grateful. As we tapped into the call of breaking bread to become and all He’s calling us to be, I pray those covenantal vows we learned about continue to echo in your hearts because this is just the beginning!

“A special thank you to Chivon founder and owner of @communityco_mcd Thank you so much for allowing @elevationwomen to host our 1st quarterly event. Your professionalism and willingness to accommodate us, calmed any and all ragging storms on the inside of me.

My family @treatstorememberllc the food was amazing (not pictured) Thank you for always hitting every tastebud in my mouth ya’ll have truly been God sent since Hawaii

My girl Nicole of @lilliansavenue . All I can say is BREATHTAKING. When I walked in the room I was floored. Thank you for taking the vision I shared and ran with it. You over-delivered in ways that truly blew me away. It is so amazing when someone captures the heart of what you’re dreaming and makes it a reality and some! And that you did.

Listen, If you’re a woman looking for a supportive community where you can grow in God’s Word, learn how to hear His voice, and build sisterhood there is a seat at this table waiting just for you. AND NOW WE GO TOGETHER REAL BAD…
Hi my name is Ebony, I am a licensed cosmetologist with over 25 years in the industry. I am a @jeanmadeline alumni. I started my career in hair at the age of 14 as a shampoo assistant in West Philly. For 9 years of my career as a stylist I worked at christian based salons that taught me the importance of being bold in my faith in the work place and I am forever grateful for those experiences. It is because of that I am the proud woman of God I am today.

In 2012 I left everything that I knew, house car, clients, family and friends and moved to the beautiful island of Hawaii. There I worked from my moms small apartment, building my clientele and with in 2 months I was booked out for months.

I met my husband September of that same year went on our 1st date in October got married the next November and here we are 10 yrs married. One yr into marriage he brought me a house turn the bottom part into a studio space and I did hair from home for 3yrs. After working alone I realized that I missed the salon life/culture so we opened a multicultural salon in central Oahu catering to all ethnicities to fill that void and make space for ppl to create. We held that location for 4 yrs and right before the pandemic hit we sold it. When the pandemic hit I was BACK at home and still had the salon space to serve my faithful clients (God is so good).

October 2020 I moved from Hawaii to Tennessee and for 2 yrs God told me I couldn’t do any hair. In that time I got pregnant had a baby a fell in love again. In June of 2022 my husband and I moved to Ga, and this time it’s appears to be permanent.

So hello to all my new followers & thanks to my faithful crew. If you’ve read this far please know that I’m grateful to have you journey with me in this kinda new chapter of my career. I have a HOME-BASED salon, however you will get a full spa like private experience . If you are looking for a haircare specialist that uses high quality products, give good shampoos and scalp massages AND can slay extension look no more. Click the link in my bio to reserve your appointment.

Tonight, we’re continuing our Kingdom Series as we dive into The Language of the Kingdom: Sacrifice.

Last week, we learned that obedience is a language of the Kingdom. But what happens when obedience requires us to surrender something?

Sacrifice is more than what we’re willing to give up. It’s also about what we’re willing to lay down before our King.

Join me tonight as we walk through Scripture and examine what it truly means to live a life of sacrifice unto God.

STOP DISQUALIFYING YOURSELF FROM THE GOOD THINGS GOD IS SENDING YOUR WAY.

Sometimes we become so accustomed to surviving that when something beautiful finally happens, we don’t know how to receive it. We question it, overthink it, wait for something to go wrong or even convince ourselves we’re not worthy of it.

What if this time you flip the script and you simply received it the good thing.

It’s funny how you struggle to believe that God is allowed to bless you when the word Bible tells you countless times, but accept the lies the devil whispered to you.

I’m here to tell you that you’re allowed to experience peace, that it’s possible to be loved well. That you’re allowed to walk through an open door without wondering when it will close.

Scripture tells us that “Every good and perfect gift is from above…”
James 1:17

So remember, you don’t have to be perfect to receive God’s goodness, you don’t have to earn His grace (it’s a free gift) and you definitely don’t have to shrink yourself because something beautiful found you.

When God restores, receive it. When the door swings open, gracefully walk through it, when peace arrives , rest in it, when God answers the prayer, believe Him, And when beautiful things happen to you and you find yourself questioning your worth saying things like “why me”, always remember the answer is simply:

Because God is good. His grace is still reaching you.
Because goodness and mercy are following you.
- Psalm 23:6

So I pray you have the courage to believe that beautiful things can happen to you, too.

And when they do…

Don’t run from them.
Don’t sabotage them.
Don’t disqualify yourself from them.

Receive them. Thank God for them. And let yourself be loved by the God who gave them.

Tonight we’re continuing The Language of the Kingdom with one word: OBEDIENCE.

In Exodus 19, we’ll look at the obedience of Moses, Israel, and the priests and what their different responsibilities teach us about responding when the King speaks.

Because in the Kingdom, obedience isn’t just hearing what God said—it’s responding to what God said.
