happy 6 month MEANGIRL anniversary to all who celebrate ⚔️ today is exactly half a year, to date, from the first time I DJ’d in public so I rounded up some bts moments of the last few months to share them with you. thanks for coming to my sets, supporting me on social media, streaming my SoundCloud mixes, and watching me discover my purpose in real time. I love you meanies.

testing camera filters before my first public set. I had escaped the pregame to calm my nerves. Tequila worked better than deep breathing.

a video clip of me listening back to one of my practices. I practice a lot, even now, there’s so much to learn. actually, on the topic of learning there’s a huge personal announcement coming this fall.

you’ll have to pry my lavender marriage from my cold dead hands. love you Zach, truly thank you for everything. i owe you more than words could possibly express so my love/loyalty/and modem noises will have to do. 🥰

this is what it feels like to learn in public.

big mood. huge even.

the first big artist I ever opened for, Kaleena Zanders. I remember stumbling across Rhythm Is A Dancer in college while studying dance performance (lore drop) and just connected with the amazing vocal. These last six months have brought me into the orbit of people I never thought I would meet and getting to share the stage with artists I have followed and looked up to is the coolest thing in the world.

i listen to a lot of jazz. should I learn to DJ vinyl?

i keep having these “what is my life?!” moments 🫨🤩🪩

Goldfinch and Emily will always have a special place in my heart. This incredible cocktail lounge is home to Nightshift, my free monthly production that’s rooted in sonic exploration and storytelling. Do you know how bold you have to be to give a green DJ a 4 hour monthly show with ever changing genres? Thank you for trusting me and for helping me bring it to life. 🥹❤️ Nightshift is the first of two MEANGIRL productions aimed at creating the change and community in Denver nightlife that I want to see. Pussy Factory is the second, I’m so excited to see my dreams be made reality.

confession: I love to DJ the afters. even after a 4 hour set I will almost alw by @meangirl_machine
