June is pride month but also spring! I am very passionate about both of these things so please observe Piper living her best life, along with the gay plants in my gay life, and take note of the gay plants in your (+/-gay) life when you’re out and about

Standing in one spot and being unable to count how many different plants I can see was an unreal experience. Even the ditch plants are stunning! by @meanwhileonwednesday

Step 2: have it approved 20min later
Step 3: go to Australia (with a hell of a head cold)
Step 4: get a car
Step 5: break that car
Step 6: fix the car
Step 7: check out all the plants

I was beyond lucky today to visit some of @prairierosephoto highland cows today. It was truly an honour, and these cows are so much smaller than I expected!! Perhaps the cabin needs a highland cow in the future by @meanwhileonwednesday

Life lately 🌱
Piper historically doesn’t really know how to play with other dogs, she prefers if dogs don’t acknowledge her existence and often I joke that she’s a people dog, not a dog dog, but these days are different.
She’s learning to play and share toys with Kova (poodle) and navigating being sometimes run over by Rosie (golden) and she’s been really happy, and it’s been phenomenal to watch her play skills grow and develop and change as she learns how to navigate not being the only dog in the house who wants to run and bark and snuggle.
She’ll be 11 in the spring and she still wants to play 24/7 despite her seizures and arthritis and honestly I don’t know how long she’ll live, so these days it’s been a lot of reminding myself, even when she’s making me crazy, that nothing is forever.
So, all in all the level of crazy is a little bit more, but also I can’t wait for dirt season by @meanwhileonwednesday
