Special guests M.E.A.T. (@meatatlanta) support ATOTAL: An Audiovisual Concert by Franck Vigroux (@franckvigroux) and Antoine Schmitt (@antoine.schmitt) at Goat Farm tomorrow night. 🥩M.E.A.T. (Music Experiments in Emerging Arts and Technology) are a group of artists and scientists exploring the intersections of Music, Community and Technology. They will be presenting BUTCHER, a digital signal processing node for creating audio reactive environments. The feeling is that of the environment “coming alive” with the music.Current M.E.A.T. members include: Orlando Kenny, Matias Cevallos, Alex Suarez, Fiona Kelly-Lopez, Khalid Diab, Dani Akinwande, Ben Rader, and Jonah Fields. M.E.A.T. Presents SURVEILAn installation that uses computer vision to interpret human gestures and create sounds. This Friday, enter an atmosphere of slowness.Join WRFG on Friday, May 15th at Park Avenue Baptist Church for Fields of Sound, an evening of free, live ambient music. Experience 9 local ambient and experimental musicians weave in and out of unique and lush soundscapes.The night will feature immersive visuals that are beautifully crafted by the collective known as Music Experiments in Emerging Arts and Technology, AKA MEAT. Doors open at 6pm and music will start promptly at 7. Once again, that’s this Friday, May 15th at Park Avenue Baptist Church, located at 486 Park Avenue Southeast in Grant Park. Admission is free.
