When choosing a restaurant for our surprise marriage reveal, @ditondo1904 was an absolute must. Justin and I used to frequent DiTondo when we lived downtown. At the time, they were only open for lunch and we fell in love with the quality of service, as well as the incredible food.Guests walked into the restaurant to see a video of our wedding playing on canvas, with Justin and I in our wedding attire to greet them 🤭🤍One of the things we love most about DiTondo is their warm decor. We wanted the restaurant itself to shine, so we kept our contributions to a minimum. Our intention was for the party to feel like an intimate family dinner, and with 56 of our closest friends and family, that’s exactly what we got 🤎Calvin was annoyed to not be on the guest list, but offered to pay for everyone’s drinks anyways 🤭 He’s just that much of a gentleman! We chose our signature cocktails based off of DiTondo’s summer menu and they were a perfect fit! House-made honeydew cordial??? You’re joking ! My signature cocktail 🫶🏼 honeydew cordial, gin, lemon, club soda, and mint 🍋🌱✨Custom matchbooks from @loungeshopbuf - their team worked with me to curate a design that matched our invites! ✨Special huge gorgeous thank you to my mom (@bunthia) and sister (@meggmaree) for helping to coordinate the entire evening and preparations before hand. From the florals to the custom signs, you made all of my visions come to life. It was special because of you. by @meatupfordinner

date night at @lilyhouse.marriott !! Their moody ambience definitely sets the restaurant apart from the accompanying hotel. We enjoyed our fair share of their signature cocktails 🤭 and ate our way through their thoughtfully curated menu. With classic buffalo favorites, tacos, flatbreads, steak and pasta options, you’re guaranteed to find something you like ✨ Such a cozy date night experience that we’ll definitely keep on our list of spots! it’s only July, but I’m clocking this in as the best thing I’ve made all year 🤤 the best part about it was I didn’t plan to make this for dinner at all 🤣!!! I bought the steak to go with salad but I opened my fridge and saw I still had some mini sub rolls, eyed a bag of kimchi, some leftover @trybachans sauce and got inspired!🥒🧅I quick pickled some cucumbers and red onions so they still had a bit of crunch. the stead was PERFECTLY tender! 🥩 If you have trouble getting your steak to look and taste like this, my tips and tricks to cooking a medium rare steak are now on my substack! by @meatupfordinner
