Still buzzing and howling over getting to perform as the Minutemen last Saturday for SacHalloween show at Red Museum and then the after set Sunday at Golden Bear. The theme for this year was announced back in March as occupations, as in jobs. I went out on a limb with my submission of the Minutemen which was more of a voluntary position than an occupation, but I was so grateful to be picked by the Red Museum after someone from the first string of announced bands had to drop out. I was told my submission was picked because I included 'We Jam Econo' in my email, lingo I'd included on the off chance a Minutemen fan was reading it! 😄 Meanwhile, I had to put together a band since I actually never thought I'd get picked! I'm so stoked that @mcjakerdoodles , @mebemunky , and @chrismahon_451 were all down with my plan to be the band in the van and sail the boat up from Pedro to Sacramento to be fucking corn dogs. Thanks @_the_red_museum_ and @sachalloweenshow for putting it all together and hosting a great time. And thanks to all the bands throughout the day for putting on amazing performances that in my opinion exceeded the artists being paid tribute. by @mebemunky
