Thankful to be able to capture history this past week. While not the outcome I had hoped for, the opportunity was forever eye-opening and life changing. #grateful @whuttv taken in Howard University by @meccafilmworks

Rest Well Ms. Carmen De Lavallade.. in 2021, the legend and friend @esperanzaspalding asked me to take part in bringing to life a once in a lifetime, one-take, multi-generational moment. It was going to be a fully improvised production at the Dance Theatre of Harlem with absolute masters of their art form. Myself and the entire @meccafilmworks squad were definitely nervous but up to the task. It was magical. A reminder that while life is fleeting, it is made up of moments that live on forever..🙏🏾 ‘Formwela 12’
