Hi there, I’m Niilo 👋

I’m the owner of Mecha_Dawg, a fursuit making buisness defined by our passion, ambition and dedication to making suits with HUGE amounts of personality!

I’m a transgender, therian, UK based furry who’s been in the fandom for 16+ years, I’m obsessed with the band Waterparks, constantly yapping about JJK and don’t get me started on anything alternative 🖤

I wanted to share just a snippet of myself with all of you, I think it’s important to build community now more than ever. In my eyes to be a successful fursuit maker I have to be personable AND professional. I don’t just want those who come across my page to only see one side of me! I’m a person, I’m complex and that’s amazing!! I’m a furry, therian, fursuit maker, I’m transgender and I’m full of ambition not just for my business but to give back to the fandom I owe so much too!

Mecha_Dawg Fursuits Commission Info! Here you can find all the handy information you need about our work! Here’s a little introduction as to who I am:

Hi there, I’m Niilo the owner of Mecha_Dawg, I’m a transgender man based in the UK, I’ve been in the fandom for over 16 years. I’ve always admired suits with a more alternative, over the top and punk style, it’s greatly inspired my approach to fursuit making and what aesthetic choices I make for my suits.

In the last year I began building fursuits full time with a focus on showing off a characters big personality and style! We want to go above and beyond to bring your character to life, and we’re never afraid of a challenge, we’re dedicated to improving our process with every suit so the more challenging the better. We also want to give you a sense of community within the fandom, which is why we hope to see you join the family soon. ^^ by @mecha_dawg

LETS BUILD A FURSUIT!

This post features some of the WIPs that were sent to my client @smallshepbigbite directly whilst I was building this fursuit! No furry character is the same as the next! Every detail and design choice needs to be carefully considered!

Should eyebrows be made with fur or appliquéd with minky? What fur colours work best! Will a different fur length show off this feature even more?? All things I as a fursuit maker have to consider! Regardless if a suit is a head only or a full digigrade I love thinking about what is going to make the characters personality come to life and seeing a client be so happy with each stage as well as the end result is the best feeling in the world!! by @mecha_dawg

Today’s post features a completed fursuit tail for @lucidaboketo the winner of my 5K fursuit tail raffle 🎉🥳

A WIP of our first ever Opossum fursuit head commission for the lovely @crybbydelphi if you love fursuits with insane aura your gonna love this one ❤️‍🔥‼️

Went on a crazy adventure to check out Nottingham fur meet this weekend and wow best meet I’ve ever attended ^^

So much to do, so many friends old and new ‼️ and insanely good vibes! I am so grateful to have experienced this and this will be a highlight for me this year ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I implore you guys to take that leap, go to that furry con or meet, put yourself out there, interact with the fandom and find your sense of community, your loved ones are out there ready to meet you and make memories! ITS WIP WEDNESDAY, BEST DAY OF THE WEEK!

So let’s take a look at some pics of what we’ve been working on! We’re refurbing and bringing new life to an older suit of ours!

@todd_collie was made back in 2024 in an overnight rush for a con! He was originally a personal Fursuit but now lives happily with his current owner! Since then he’s been on many adventures but has been overdue for some upgrades! So he’s back in the studio for a new look before the new year hits!

GUYS I THINK WE HIT THE JACKPOTTTTT

Let’s welcome Hakari Yeen to the Mecha_Dawg fam owned by @restless_.gambler Hakari he is our first JJK inspired suit but won’t be our last ;) he is a mini partial suit (more pics and videos will be shared soon) and features multiple eyelids, tongues, adjustable head straps and a hidden zipper in the back of his head!
