This is my favorite one for Modiphius Entertainment's Five Parsecs From Home game.

Since I was allowed to redesign the Soulless, I wanted to modernize it. The redesign was heavily inspired by the artwork of Nivanh Chanthara.

This model is a character, not a drone, so he has some unique features. He modified himself to have multiple arms to aid in combat, and also wears some clothing to better fit in with the organic crew members.

Here's the second set I designed for Modiphius Entertainment's Five Parsecs From Home game, the Soulless.

I was allowed to completely redesign the models, but I wanted to retain a look that was still similar to the original models.

Here's a new set I sculpted for Modiphius Entertainment's Five Parsecs From Home game.

The Corporate Security Team.

I based the cap off some Moebius art, and gave them a clean, corporate look.

I finally got around to making a set of close-combat weapons for the Mesoamerican-themed Heavy Power Armor models!

The set comprises of:

9 different shields (Yaochimalli)

2 left arms for the shields

2 Macuahuitl

1 Panther-headed Cuauhololli

1 Glyph-covered Huitzauhqui

2 right arms for the weapons.

These are now available from my Gumroad shop here:

I was fortunate to be able to sculpt some miniatures for Modiphius Entertainment's XCOM Miniatures Game.

These are the Sectoids, and the Sectoid Commander.

I sculpted several other models and will post pics of them when they are previewed.

Just a quick preview of some new Mesoamerican themed bits I've been working on.

A set of shields and weapons for the Mesoamerican Terminator models. I'll probably add some more details like trophies, feathers, skulls, etc to them so they look more "personalized".

I'm still working on the weapons, and will post pics when they are done.

Here's a large set of models I made for Greater Games boardgame, Defenders of the Realm.

My favorite is the Inkycap Mushroom, he's so grumpy!

I realised I had never posted this video by What Are You Painting Now? that features my Mesoamerican bits towards the end.

This is more of a personal post.

I've never been much for taking pictures, especially of myself.

I've always regretted that. So much of my life exists only as memories in my head, memories I can't really share with anyone. Sometimes it feels like I have nothing to show for the last twenty years.

Meeting people and building friendships has never come naturally to me. I've always struggled with social anxiety, and it hasn't gotten any easier with time.

I miss Baltimore and Philadelphia, but I don't really have any close friends left there anymore. It's been so long that I wonder if I'd even recognize the people I once knew.

When I left Memphis in 2008, I lost everything. The house I was living in burned down, and I arrived in Seattle with nothing but my car and the clothes on my back.

I don't think I ever fully recovered from that. We think of possessions as just things, but they become part of our lives. Losing all of that felt like losing part of myself.

Ever since then, I've felt disconnected, like a chapter of my life disappeared and I never figured out how to write the next one.

There is one exception: sculpting. I love what I do. It's the one part of my life where I feel like I've truly succeeded.

Outside of work, though, I've stagnated. I've spent years standing still, slowly losing touch with the person I used to be.

Lately I've been thinking about drawing again, maybe even working toward becoming a tattoo artist. It feels like a way to reconnect with myself while giving me a reason to be around people instead of hiding away.

I've also been deeply lonely for a long time. I haven't been in a relationship since I left Maryland, and going through life alone for that long changes you.

I know something has to change. I need to build friendships, create a life outside of work, and stop hiding from the world.

I'm sorry for putting all of this out there so publicly. I just don't really know where else to start. by @mechanicalhorizon
