14 years ago, before even started making music, I walked into @tresorberlin for the first time as a guest on the dancefloor.
Last Friday, I stepped into the booth.

I started the night feeling incredibly nervous, but somewhere along the way those four hours seemed to disappear. I found that rare flow where everything around me faded and it was just the music.

The cage is something else. Strangely enough, it also felt familiar, almost like coming home after all the hours I’ve spent behind the booth at @tresor.west .

I’m deeply grateful to the entire team for the trust and for making me feel so welcome. And to all my friends who came to share this night with me -it wouldn’t have been the same without you.

After my set we kept dancing until the end and celebrating what has been the most meaningful gig of my life so far.

A bit late with this one, but I’ve been wanting to share this set properly.

Two weeks ago I played a live stream at @loone_berlin - a cute little bar with a basement room that feels incredibly intimate. You can almost forget the cameras and just sink into the music. I really love what they’ve built there, it’s such a special space to experience DJs up close. So if you’re in berlin, it’s definitely worth a visit!

For this set, I didn’t want to play a classic club set. It was more about following a feeling and having the freedom to take risks. I found myself mixing very intuitively, sometimes switching styles quite drastically, but always trying to keep a sense of flow.

I was thinking less in genres or styles and more in textures and moods. Using tracks like building blocks, letting them overlap for a long time, so that even when things shift, there’s still a thread connecting everything. Moments of tension, reduction, playfulness, density, all kind of existing next to each other, pushing and pulling the energy in different directions.

It felt less like telling a straight story and more like letting something unfold on its own. Not always predictable, but still connected.

Last Saturday I had the chance to play at HÖR Berlin - and yes the tiles were freshly cleaned probably right before I messed them up with my nervous footprints and messy hair lol (the bathroom energy is real)
Truth is, I was really nervous! My hands were trembling during the first transitions - not just from adrenaline, but from something deeper I’ve been carrying for a while: the fear of being seen.
It’s wild how this feeling still shows up after so many years of DJing. This time, it hit harder.
The camera. The pressure. The vulnerability of showing my sound, my musical identity - myself. That’s why I wore a cap - a little shield to soften the gaze and protect my focus.
But somewhere mid-set something shifted. My hands stopped shaking, and my hips started to. I remembered why I do this, why music is my anchor and I allowed myself to be seen - just as I am ✨
I’m deeply grateful to @shaleen_ for the invite and for being such a strong, grounding force! To @hoer.berlin for giving artists space to express themselves honestly. And to everyone who tuned in, sent love or danced with me that evening - thank you!

MEET MEDEA

R.I.O.T. started with a question:
What would the space I always wanted to find actually look like?

A space where music can be more than entertainment. Where different perspectives can meet, where we can experiment, connect and imagine something beyond what we already know.

For medea, creating R.I.O.T. is part of her own journey as an artist and an attempt to turn those questions into something tangible.

R.I.O.T. is not only about what happens on the dancefloor.

We also want to create spaces where knowledge is shared, questions are asked and different approaches to electronic music can meet.

Workshops are a part of that. Not as a space where someone tells you how it’s supposed to be done, but as a space to exchange, experiment, challenge ideas and develop your own way of doing things in an environment where you can ask questions, try things out and take up space without having to prove yourself.

In September R.I.O.T. returns to Tresor.West.

R.I.O.T. – Reclaiming Identities On Turntables – creates space for feminist and queer voices within electronic music, questioning the structures that shape our scene.

Who gets to take up space?
Who gets to be heard?
Who gets to shape the culture?

TOMORROW 6 PM 🤍
Last year @riot_reclaimed came together almost by accident. Within just a few weeks, an idea turned into a night. Very spontaneously, intuitively and driven by a feeling that something was missing. There was no big plan behind it. I just followed the impulse and somehow everything started falling into place.

But that first edition made something clear to me: there is a need for spaces Iike this.

R.I.O.T. was born from the desire to create more space for feminist and queer perspectives within club culture - to question the structures we are part of, to make room for different identities and experiences and to connect people through music art knowledge and exchange.
What started as an intuitive experiment has now grown into something I want to make more permanent, more intentional and more visible.

So this year @riot_reclaimed returns with a full Programme around the club night: workshops, a roundtable, an exhibition and of course, the dancefloor.
A space to learn, to question, to connect, to make noise and to reclaim our identities on turntables.
I’m very happy to finally share the next chapter with you
