In full support of @mediterranearescue , its work and the principles it promotes, @medeasisters has decided to create a limited edition bag.
100% of the profits will be donated entirely to Mediterranea.
The bag will also be part of the rescue team uniform.

Pictured here is David Yambio @yambio.david , activist and founder of the organization Refugees in Libya.
Born in Sudan in 1997, his own experiences of forced exile, displacement, educational deprivation, exploitation, and detentions inspired him to fight for the human rights and well-being of migrants and refugees.
Now based in Italy, he continues his fight for justice, aiming to establish a collaborative hub in Bologna for aiding refugees in Libya and North Africa.

The purpose of Medea for Mediterranea is twofold: on one hand to raise awareness and to do something concrete in support of those who save lives in the Mediterranean.

Shipping costs are not included in the donation.

Nasce in Sudan nel 1997, David ha vissuto una vita di esilio, sfruttamento e privazioni educative, oltre ad essere stato detenuto in centri per immigrati. Queste esperienze lo hanno spinto a lottare per i diritti di migranti e rifugiati. Ora vive in Italia, dove continua la sua battaglia per la giustizia e sogna di fondare un hub a Bologna per aiutare i rifugiati provenienti dalla Libia e dal Nord Africa.

Lo scopo di Medea x Mediterranea è duplice: da un lato sensibilizzare dall’altro fare qualcosa di concreto a supporto di chi salva vite umane nel Mediterraneo centrale.
