hi friends ⋆✴︎˚｡⋆ get to know me!!!

my name is mae, and i’m a photographer from the chicagoland area:)

2025 was an incredible year for my newfound love for concert photography, considering that’s when it really took flight. while i’ve loved photography my whole life, i never found the true subject that i was passionate about. even though i tried and tried countless times to find something that really clicked for me, it somehow took me this long to make the connection with live music… which is kind of insane considering how huge of a part it’s always been in my life.

so, that brings me to where we are now: starting fresh and dedicating a space to sharing my art and adventures following the rest of my photography journey. mostly, you’ll see my concert/dj/band/music related media here! but i’ll also sprinkle in some other stuff that i work on from time to time:)

i’m really, truly excited to see what this next year has in store. so if you’re here, thanks for joining me on this next stage of life. hope you find some stuff you love 🖤

summers last dance to the moon 🚀🌙

what a pleasure to be back with the @summerslastdance team for the 2nd year. watching this fest evolve has been such an honor, and it’s only going up from here.

this year holds a special place in my heart. being able to compare myself to this moment last year has given me an insane reassurance that i’m right where i need to be & doing exactly what i need to be doing. and i will continue showing up and being the change i wanna see in this industry. BE KIND. CONNECT WITH YOUR COMMUNITY. AND BOOK MORE WOMEN OF COLOR!!!!

shoutout to the organizers, artists, production, security, and most importantly our attendees!! this wouldn’t be possible without all of you 🖤 so thank you so much for coming out and making this the BEST end of summer wrap party. BONUS POINTS: no mud 👀 hell ya

As an independent festival, it truly takes a village. To our headliners, INCREDIBLY talented local DJs and artists, vendors, content creators, security, staff, and everyone else who helped bring SLD back to life again: we love and appreciate you all soooo much 🫶

⋆✴︎˚｡⋆MEDIA MADNESS - SEPT⋆｡˚✴︎⋆

if media has been the thing holding you back, look no further than your new favorite monthly series 🤪

media should be accessible for ALL, and a media budget should NOT be holding you back from getting yourself out there and showcasing your talents!!!

most of all, i just wanna see everyone around me succeeding. that goes for friends AND future friends so if i gotta use my camera to connect with the community and make media more accessible, thats what ill do -

stay tuned for october, where i’ll be offering lots of different projects for all my creatives!

p.s. if media is not currently accessible to you, and there is nothing offered here that is beneficial to you, please feel free to reach out!! there is always opportunity to try and work something out. plus, money isn’t everything! i’m always down for trades too:)

DM FOR MORE INFO & TO CLAIM. SUBJECT TO APPROVAL. CIRCUMSTANCES MAY VARY.
