Modern science is trying to solve this problem of consciousness by understanding the behavior of brain. But according to upanishad, mind is lightened by consciousness.

So we can't understand consciousness by just studying the pattern of mind. Pattern of mind just represent neural activity but it can represent consciousness.

According to upanishad, this physical body is the vehicle which is carrying necessary life forces but this body is not the fundamental existence.

The fundamental existence is the consciousness which is way beyond these physical senses and it can't be perceived using physical senses.

Don't think consciousness and you as different entity. This is the essence of non dualism in vedanta.

According to modern science, everything that exist in this universe is vibration. Our thoughts are also spread in the universe in the form of vibration.

It seems like a joke if I say to anyone that there is nothing like death but let me ask you some questions.

1. Do you really think that you have no existence behind this body?
2. If dead is the last thing then what is the meaning of human consciousness?
3 According to quantum science, if everything is energy then we know energy can't be dead.

According to vedanta and Non duality principle given in vedas and Upanishads, we all are part of the source of creation.

Source of creation is you can say the highest form of vibration and this universe is disturbed motion of vibration.
