The first thing most pets do after passing? They come right back to you.

One of the most common things pets in spirit show me is that they stay close. They are with you on the drive home, beside you in the quiet moments, and around you as you begin navigating pet loss and pet grief.

Their body may be gone, but their love and presence remain.

Have you ever felt like your pet is still around… even after they have passed?

The truth is, they are. They really are! 💕

The moment your pet leaves their physical body, they do not “go far.”

They shift. They expand. They become energy, and from that space, they are able to see you, feel you and stay close to you in ways they never could before. 💫

Many animals begin watching over their pet parents immediately after they pass on.

Not in a way that feels heavy or intrusive.
In a way that is filled with love, curiosity and deep connection. 🥰

They often try to get your attention through signs.

✨You might notice:
• Feeling them jump on the bed or brush past your legs
• Hearing familiar sounds like tags jingle, paws or breathing
• Seeing them out of the corner of your eye
• Dreams that feel incredibly real and vivid
• Electrical flickers or sudden shifts in energy
• Finding their fur long after it should be gone

These are not coincidences.

Animals are incredibly pure, heart-centered beings.
They don’t carry the same fear or resistance that humans do when it comes to the afterlife. 💞

They move seamlessly between worlds.

And their love for you doesn’t end.
It actually becomes more expansive. 💫

If you’re open, you will feel them.

Not always in the way you expect,
but in the way your soul can recognize. 🥰

Your pet is still with you.
Just in a different form.

Love like that doesn’t disappear. It just changes form. 💫

Soul2Soul connection is not limited to animals or to those who have passed.

At its core, it is exactly what the name says:

Soul to soul.

This session was a beautiful example of that.

A mother living with dementia and navigating a medical event was still able to show me, with clear evidence, that she knew what was happening around her and that there was something she deeply wanted her daughter to understand.

The physical body and the mind may change.

But the soul remains aware.

The soul can still communicate.

The soul can still love.

And the soul can still find a way to be heard.

That is what makes this work so meaningful to me.

Whether I am connecting with a living pet, a pet in spirit, a loved one who has passed, or someone whose physical condition makes communication difficult, the connection is still Soul2Soul.

The body may have limitations.

There is divine timing in a pet’s passing, even when we cannot immediately see it through the pain.

In the early days of pet loss, the grief can feel so overwhelming that it is almost impossible to understand why your cherished pet had to leave when they did.

But often, around nine months later, clarity begins to arrive.

You may notice something unfolding in your life, a new relationship, a move, a baby, a business, a healing journey, or a deeper spiritual awakening. Something that may not have happened in the same way if your pet were still physically here.

This does not mean their passing was meant to hurt you.

It means their soul may have understood a much bigger picture than you could see at the time.

Your pet’s passing was not random. Their love, purpose, and connection to you did not end. In many ways, they continue supporting you from spirit as the next chapter of your life begins to reveal itself.

Sometimes the meaning does not arrive immediately.

Sometimes it comes months later, when you are finally able to look back and see that your pet’s timing carried love, purpose, and a wisdom beyond the physical world. 💞🐾 by @mediumbritta

1. Remember your soul pet’s LIFE, not just their goodbye. They lived a lifetime of beautiful memories, silly moments, unconditional love, and pure joy. Their final moments were only a tiny part of your story together.

2. Remember how HAPPY your soul pet was with you. The adventures, the cuddles, the routines, and the little things that made their tail wag. You gave them a lifetime of love, and that’s what matters most.

Pet grief can make the final moments feel bigger than all the years before them.

Who greets my pet in spirit?

Your pet is never wandering around lost or alone.

In the way I understand the afterlife, every soul carries a unique frequency.

That frequency is recognizable. 🥰

Other pets in spirit, loved ones, and familiar souls can connect with that energy immediately.

It is almost like an energetic signature.

So when your pet transitions, they are not trying to figure out where to go or who they belong with.

They are known.

They are recognized.

They are received.

The soul frequency they carry allows connection to happen naturally and effortlessly. 💫

That is why I never see pets in spirit as lost.

They are surrounded by love, awareness, and connection from the moment they transition.

And because there is no true separation, your pet is still deeply connected to you too.

As an Evidential Pet Medium and Evidential Animal Communicator, here are 6 things the pets consistently show me about what happens after they pass on.

1. They know exactly what happened.

No animal is lost, confused, or waiting to cross over. Their soul understands why they passed and the bigger picture of their soul journey.

2. They are still right there with you.

They are immediately with you, including the drive home from the vet’s office - yes! It is that quick! Your pet never truly leaves you. They know what’s happening in your life, hear you when you speak to them, and continue to love you. Your soul connection never ends.

3. All physical pain is gone and they have no memory of it.

The moment they leave their body, illness, suffering, and physical limitations disappear. They are completely free.

4. They reunite with souls they love.

Whether it’s other pets, human family members, or souls from past lifetimes, they are welcomed with unconditional love. No soul is ever alone.

5. Their soul may leave before their final breath.

Animals sometimes show me that their soul stepped outside their body before their physical passing, especially during traumatic or unexpected deaths. Everything is divinely timed.

6. They don’t miss you the way you miss them.

Time isn’t linear in spirit. They aren’t counting the days until you’re reunited because, at a soul level, you’ve never been separated.

The loss.

When you are deep in pet loss and pet grief, it can feel impossible to see beyond the pain of this moment.

But clarity has a way of arriving later.

Your soul pet’s story with you is bigger than one final day.

Trust the unfolding.

Trust the timing.

Trust that love is still guiding you, even when you cannot yet see where the path is leading.

One day, you may look back and understand things your heart simply could not understand today.

It will all make sense in time. I promise.

How does a dog choose their favorite person?

It starts with a soul connection.

And you usually feel it too.

You just know.

There is a special pull. A deep bond. A feeling that this dog was always meant to be yours.

It is not about who feeds them, walks them, or gives them the most treats.

In my work as an Evidential Animal Communicator, dogs often show me that their favorite person is the one they share the strongest soul connection with.

They can still love the whole family.

But one bond may feel deeper.

And when that soul dog passes, pet loss and pet grief can feel especially intense because the connection was so deep.

3 Things The Pets Tell Me About Euthanasia That Every Pet Parent Needs to Hear:

1. Everything Is Divinely Timed. Always.

There is no such thing as too early or too late. From the soul’s perspective, your pet’s passing happens in divine timing, always. Every pet has a soul contract with their mom and dad, and that includes the timing of their transition.

You may not understand why things unfolded the way they did right now, but there is a bigger picture to your journey together. Your pet doesn’t want you questioning the timing. They want you remembering the love. 💫

2. You Didn’t Make the Decision Alone.

Your pet helped you make that decision. I communicate Soul2Soul, and your pet didn’t need to leave their physical body to communicate with you. Their soul was guiding you, even if you didn’t recognize it at the time. You may believe you made that heartbreaking decision for them but you actually made it together, divinely timed.

3. Sometimes Your Pet Was Ready Before You Were.

Pets will sometimes show me that they were ready to stop the medical treatments, testing, and surgeries. Trust that every decision you made was made from love, and your pet knows that 💯 percent.
