Feeling like we’re long overdue for a hard post over here. So easy to get wrapped up in doing the work that we forget to show the work sometimes. Here’s some personal work (my own home) that was shot for @papercityhouston with @parbengtsson1. Art directed by @michelleavina. Featuring work and vintage pieces from many wonderful friends in the biz. 🤍 by @medsger

A favorite from last year. The client wanted a peach-colored bathroom and we selected the perfect @benjaminmoore color to give it that playful, peachy feel, with just enough earthiness to keep it staying soft, serene, and not at all garish (which it could have easily gone with just a slightly wrong paint color). by @medsger

A good place to cozy up and read on this muggy, overcast day in Houston. That is, if you have the day off! Happy Monday to all who do and don’t! Photo by @mollyculverphotography. by @medsger

Living room in a West U project. A little traditional, a little moody, and a little of that crafty/touch of hand element I’m always after. Seen especially in the vintage Japanese Boro hung on the wall, from @carolpiperrugs. Vintage Tuareg rug and one of my favorite contemporary pieces, the Ojai cabinet by @lawsonfenning, which was designed as an homage to Axel Einer Hjorth’s Lovo cabinet (seen in the second slide). This may be one of my favorite rooms. A sweet little nursery for a sweetest little baby, August, who was born last July. Haven’t had it photographed it yet, just posting some sneak peek iPhone photography. by @medsger
