48 turns around our star. So grateful to be at XC on my B-day and no place I’d rather be than w/ my daughter, in this world class gym, training w/ world champion coaches. I’ve been in a gym since I was 12. Size, strength, physique, none of that shit matters here. In this gym or any MMA gym, all that matters is your humility, willingness to learn, your heart, hard work and the time you put in. It’s only me vs me and the only thing I have to prove is to my daughter, what this immense tier 1 training will do for her for the rest of her life. Her body will be able to break shit, her mind unbreakable, and her spirit unstoppable. That’s what she’s learning here, and that legacy to her is all the B-day returns I’ll ever need. HBD to all the Lions out there!
@casey.quaife @cconnell702 Thank you gentlemen.

Desert Duals 3 delivered, and we couldn’t have asked for a better event. Incredible matches, an amazing crowd, and a room full of people who continue to make this event something special.

And when it was all over, the Air Force stood on top once again, becoming the first two-time Desert Duals Battle of the Branches Champions.

This is only the first photo set. We have a lot more from the weekend to share, along with plenty of people to thank for helping bring this year’s event to life.

Congratulations to Team Air Force, and thank you to everyone who competed, attended, supported, sponsored, volunteered, and helped make Desert Duals 3 happen.

Anthony Hubbard is stepping in on short notice to take on Jerry Gordoa this Saturday at the Silverton Hotel & Casino.

Both men are Las Vegas locals and military veterans. Anthony is a Navy veteran and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu purple belt representing 10th Planet Las Vegas, while Jerry is a Marine and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu blue belt representing Underground Jiu Jitsu 702.

Two local competitors, two branches of service, and a matchup we’re excited to add to the card. We appreciate Anthony stepping up on short notice and look forward to seeing these two on the mats Saturday.
