26th World Congress of Psychiatry wrapped 🤍

Met many incredible people, learnt from fantastic speakers during debates, The Specialist Corner, lectures and so much more! I also had the opportunity to share my research which is a huge milestone for me as a medical student.

The 26th WCP was a memorable experience to say the least. Looking forward to the future of psychiatry 🌍

October, what a month you have been 😌 by @medwithmaz

I wish third-year me knew about this!

Student handbooks/guides from the official ‘royal colleges’ are the best free (and available for download) resources out there.

Also a great way to learn more about a speciality and how to build your portfolio towards the speciality.

Leaflets are good and always mention them in your OSCE stations but also know how to provide them for patients irl!

September in Stockholm 🇸🇪 by @medwithmaz

I wish more people knew about this because I found out very late into my medical school journey (thanks to a friend who recommended I applied) and the support I’ve received has significantly helped my studies.

Remember grants are non-repayable so it is ALWAYS worth checking if you meet the eligibility criteria (check Gov.UK/DSA)

Don’t forget to submit your application to Oriel for UKFPO 2027!!

Also if anyone can’t seem to load oriel, mine only works by using data (not wifi😌)… good luck :)
