Hey Mom, ❤️🕊️
I finally settled down and took school seriously. I know you’ve probably been waiting and praying for me to do that, and that day finally came. One thing I’ve learned is, “When the time is right, the Lord will make it happen.”
I promised you that one day I would earn my degree, and today I can proudly say that I kept that promise.
There were days when it was challenging. I had to pull all-nighters to study for exams. Ouuuu, Celsius was my best friend. 😂 Then I’d go to track practice that very same day completely drained, exhausted, and irritated. There were moments when I questioned myself, but I refused to quit. Every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every early morning, and every hard workout was worth it.

Dear Jesus, thank You. 🤍

You are faithful. 🙏🏾🙌🏾

I remember the moment I surrendered my will to God, and He took over. From that point on, He ordered my steps and carried me through every season.

The pain, the scars, the tears, and the sacrifices were not in vain. Every setback had a purpose, and every trial was shaping me into who He called me to be.

Today, I stand as a testimony that when you surrender your plans and trust God’s timing, He can do more than you could ever imagine.

All glory belongs to God. ❤️

“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.”
‭‭I can’t count the number of times I’ve given up on running, but no matter how lost or hopeless I felt, we always found our way back to each other.

Track has been my guide throughout life. It has taught me discipline, hard work, leadership, grit, resilience, strength, and so much more.

These past two years have changed me in ways I never imagined. I’ve grown not only as an athlete, but as a woman, a leader, and a person. Every setback, every lesson, and every victory shaped me into who I am today, and I am truly grateful for it all.

I just want to thank @famutf for taking a chance on me, and thank you, @roxy_ari , for seeing my potential and continuing to build on it.

The journey wasn’t easy, but I can definitely say: I made it.❤️🏃🏽‍♀️💚🧡
