${ Art Feature | فيتشير فن } If you swipe, continue reading English caption here: Meet Osama Ehab, an Egyptian artist based in Cairo. Born in 2002, Osama’s art forces you to look at reality’s brutality and confront it. In his 2nd solo exhibition (Not Every Glitter Is Gold) his works depicts reality’s brutalist face: Poverty. The best part?! This confrontation happens in a Gold Frame! Why?! Maybe because gold will attract your attention to what really matters. Osama succeeds in triggering your conscious; his work doesn’t offer solutions, it makes you think about it. Unless you don’t want to face reality, then this type of art is not for you. ••• It’s so obvious his art provoked me 🙂‍↔️ If I was in Cairo I wouldn’t miss it. (Not Every Glitter is Gold) is on view @mashrabiagallery until 8 October 2026. ••• #almahhart by @meem_basheer$

${ Art & Society | الفن والمجتمع } Artists do an excellent work with projecting a collective experience that humans sometimes struggle to express with words. Grieve or happiness, depression or fullness, art always succeeds in expressing the most complex human emotion. Art shares moments and burdens with us, it removes a weight from our shoulders, and it makes us feel we are not alone in whatever we are experiencing and can’t share with words. Here is a collection of artworks depicting the role of art in expressing our emotions and experiences. Featured artists: 1. Fatima Lootah 2. Leen Jameel 3. Orouba Ali 4. Ahmad Moullah 5. Tamara Ali 6. Rashid Diab 7. Ahmad Turki 8. Mohannad Orabi 9. Dar Al Naim 10. May Al Saad 11. Bassem Dahdouh ••• #almahhart by @meem_basheer$
