Why do I keep talking about Jesus?
If you went through 5 years of depression and anxiety, seeing dead people and serpents in your dreams and then found peace in the name of Jesus, wouldn’t you?

If someone told me there is power in the name of Jesus a few years ago, I would have just assumed they were “religious”…. I thought I was chasing light.
I didn’t know I was walking straight into darkness.

My goals have changed over the years.

These days, success looks a little different to me.

It’s taking care of the body God gave me.
It’s building a business that honours Him.
It’s choosing purpose over popularity.
It’s travelling, experiencing the beauty of God’s creation, and enjoying the life He has given me.
It’s surrounding myself with people who love Jesus.
And above everything else, it’s building a relationship with Him that goes far beyond Sunday.

I still have ambitions.
I still have goals.
I still want to build something meaningful.

The difference?
I want God at the centre of all of it.

Because what good is building a life that looks successful on the outside if you’re neglecting the One who gave you life in the first place?

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 ❤️

I am an ambitious 57 year old woman and in 2026 I am starting over my life and business with God 🩷

I hear a lot of people make excuses when they hit 50.

I hear things like:
“I am too old”
“It’s too late now”
“I don’t have energy”
“I don’t know how to”

The truth? I don’t have it all figured out either. But here are 5 facts that gets me jumping out of bed with excitement each day.

1. If God gave you the assignment, He will equip you.
2. A healthy diet and a healthy lifestyle will give you the energy you claim not to have. 😂
3. Discipline & Time Management are the best productivity hacks.
4. Pray for guidance every step of the way and the path will be revealed to you.
5. What matters isn’t your age. It’s the legacy you leave behind.

I want to always be remembered as that girl who loves Jesus. So His calling is my purpose and I wouldn’t have it any other way 🩷

Sometimes, you want to pray, but the words just won’t come. You’re overwhelmed, exhausted, or carrying something you don’t know how to put into words.

Remember this. 🤍

God saw Hannah weeping when her heart was breaking. He understood her pain even when she couldn’t explain it to anyone else. (1 Samuel 1)

Jesus reminded us that our Father knows what we need before we even ask Him. (Matthew 6:8)

David discovered that there is nowhere we can go where God’s presence cannot reach us. He knows when we sit, when we rise, and even our thoughts before we speak them. (Psalm 139)

And Hebrews reminds us that we can approach God’s throne of grace with confidence and receive mercy and help when we need it most. (Hebrews 4:16)

You don’t need perfect words to reach a perfect God.

He sees you. He is with you. And through Christ, you can come to Him just as you are.

If this is the reminder your heart needed today, save it for the days when you don’t know what to pray. 🤍

God has never had just one blueprint for a woman. 🤍

Deborah led. Ruth worked. Lydia built. Priscilla taught. Esther spoke up. Jael acted courageously.

Different women. Different assignments. One God.

Your calling doesn’t have to look like another woman’s. You don’t have to choose between being a woman of faith and using the gifts, wisdom and abilities God has given you.

The question isn’t whether God can use you. It’s whether you’re willing to answer when He calls.

I really wish I was taught in school and university that :

I am not the labels that is given to me,
I am not the roles I play and
I am not who society, my peers and my friends say I am.

None of us were taught how to:
- heal from our childhood traumas
- let go of the labels and
- how to align ourselves with the identity God gave us.

Genesis 1:27: “God created mankind in His own image”

Jeremiah 1:5 “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born I set you apart”

2 Corinthians 5:17 “If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come”.

The Bible is very clear. God loves us so much that He gave his Son for us. He knew us before we were born and He created us with intention and purpose.

So the next time you start doubting yourself and your worth, I want you to repeat the scriptures above until you start living from the identity God created you from.

I know we are all waiting for our prayers to be answered. But here is a thought, remember everything you have now is something you prayed for a while ago. Did you give thanks to Him for what He has done? Did you tell everyone about the goodness of your God?

I accepted Christ when I was 16. But for 8 years, I went deep into new age. So much so that I was completely disconnected from God, from the world and from myself. I thought I was beyond help. But then Jesus left the 99 and saved me - the one who went astray. And for that I will always be eternally grateful. My life will never be the same and even today I am living the dream I never thought was possible - peace and joy in walking with Him and knowing Him.

So yes I still tell the world (including you 🩷) that all this is God. He is so so good :)

For years, I was completely immersed in Dr Joe’s world. I was meditating for 1.5 hours a day, chasing “peace”. But the deeper I went, the darker it got.

My “make believe” peace turned into a viscous never ending nightmare. I had sleepless nights, visions of serpents crawling in my bedroom, and a crippling desire to unalive myself.

I couldn’t figure out why this “science-based” meditation was destroying my soul. One night I called upon God. Jesus, the King of Kings delivered me 🩷

I still wanted to figure out why I went through this horrible nightmare. And as I researched about the truth behind Dr Joe’s teachings I was dumbfounded.

He was teaching new age occult practices re-packaged as “science”. Here is the darkness the New Age hides under the guise of neuroscience:

1. It is not based on science. Dr. Joe Dispenza didn’t develop these techniques in a lab. For years, he was an appointed teacher at Ramtha’s School of Enlightenment : a notorious New Age cult run by a woman named JZ Knight. She claims to channel a 35,000-year-old warrior spirit named Ramtha. His entire foundation of “rewiring your brain” is just repackaged occultism from a channeling cult.

2. The Kundalini Trap. His breathwork and intensive meditations are designed to pull energy up the spine. In Eastern mysticism, this is explicitly known as a Kundalini awakening : the awakening of the “serpent power”. Kundalini is not a physiological function; it is a demonic spirit. You are literally inviting demonic possession, which is why so many students end up with severe panic, psychosis, and unexplainable spiritual torment.

As Christians we need to remember that we cannot use pagan, occultic tools to experience the supernatural. The Bible explicitly warns us to stay away from these practices.

Dr. Joe teaches that you are the creator of your reality - the exact original lie the serpent told Eve in the garden.

If you are looking for true healing and peace, stop looking inward and look to Jesus.

I wasted so many years seeking validation and acceptance. For decades I believed the lie that my value is tied to my performance, my appearance, my body shape and my success.

It is only after I stepped into my identity in Christ that I realized my worth was settled forever at the cross. I don’t have to hustle, perform, or prove myself because God already chose me, loves me, set me apart and holds my future securely in His hands.

He gave me what no new age practice, “higher power” or “Universe” gave me. He gave me the identity of being a “co heir with Christ”, and the “daughter of the most High God”. What more can I possibly ask for?

You are enough 🩷

Most women were taught to believe that being “kind” means being available and saying “yes” to others all the time.

And when we say no, we feel guilty.
That guilt is not always conviction.
Sometimes it is a sign that pleasing others is costing you your peace.

Look at Nehemiah for example.
He received the same invitation four times.
He gave the same answer four times.

The invitation sounded polite: “Come, let us meet together.”
But they were scheming to harm him.

Notice what he did not do.
He did not over-explain.
He did not apologize.
He did not look for a compromise.

He said:
“I am carrying on a great project and cannot go down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and go down to you?” Nehemiah 6:3

“Four times they sent me the same message, and each time I gave them the same answer.” Nehemiah 6:4

And the wall was finished in fifty-two days. Nehemiah 6:15

Not everyone who asks something of you is an enemy. But even a good request cannot outrank the assignment God gave you.

A no to the wrong meeting is a yes to the work God called you to.
