Antique Romance
Hw did the jewellery speaks?
Can you spot my msg??
Day back to Victorian era (or even earlier of coz), there are always special meanings or hidden msg in jewelleries.

On the LEFT side, take a look of the stones, starting with the middle then to the 2 o'clock side.
They are Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald again, Sapphire and Topaz.
I believe you noticed that the first letter of the stones came up to the word "DEAREST".

On the Right side, a easier one, with a flower of Forget Me Not (毋忘我).

By wearing them both means, well, i guess i dun hv to repeat this.😉
N yes, that's why i am obsessed with antique pieces. Something that now not much ppl will even notice.

Both rings are from mid to late Victorian era

Hope you enjoy this little feed. ✨

A colour change sapphire from blue 💙 to purple 💜, 18 - 20ct, from Ceylon, no heat no treatment. An antique brooch✨

Not a very clear chg since i was indoor with no special light source, but still u will see a little of purple or even pink at the side.

Indeed from the AGL cert 2024 shown the colour cld be "violentish Blue to Purple-pink", but normally the "very pink" side will show out.

More pics n the cert of colour chg will be uploaded soon. Make sure u won't miss it ✨

Fancy Yellow old mine brilliant cut diamond, mark with 40.38ct (VS2), with platinum, yellow gold and silver-topped gold.

This size, this clarity, as an antique jewelry. We do not see that often.

Obviously it's part of a necklace or brooch before, a big piece probably. Perhaps nth special makes it special ✨

(Further details pic will be uploaded soon)

I've been checking this piece for ard half an hour, for all the details: the stones, cutting, mounting etc.

Wt i can say it's an original diamond necklace, ca1870-1910, no replacement stones,
UNTILL the end of it, that little red, i believe it's 1950 or even later, a new modern cut ruby (and quite a low quality of stone my apology) mount in same silver gold.

Of coz the big part of the piece, the main ruby and diamond, can be taken of as a brooch. Modern european cut diamonds were used, to make it ''more like'' an antique. Probably mount with 14k gold.

Wt's ur opinion?? Open discussions are always welcome and that's hw we learn. I only got a 10x lope and pair of eyes, i might be wrong too. But it's always interesting to invest something unknown.

The taken off part will be in another post, so we can see more details n not too much information at once.

Once again, i m back, i hope. Tough days, more tough. May explain it bit in the next post.
Stay turn ❤️
